Mangia in New York City, close to the Acadia location, was a wonderful find.
Nicole and Dominica were incredibly warm, courteous, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
The Italian cookies were an absolute delight, especially the raspberry almond and chocolate, perfectly paired with a hot cup of coffee after brunch.
We were pleasantly surprised by the full Italian food experience, from the buffet with fresh dishes like burrata salad, clay salmon, and a live pasta station, to sandwiches to go, cakes, and beautifully packaged holiday cookie boxes and gifts.
If you are in the area and craving a delicious dessert or a relaxing coffee after your meal, this is the place to go.
Very good place to make a delicious and quick meal. Head it two times in two days, great for a Coffee or a sanduích - also has a buffet that is very tasty. Excellent desserts!
This place has been fine in the past year that I've been going here. However, yesterday an obnoxious customer brought in his pet dog. This is obviously a pet, not an ADA dog. You need to enforce NY City law that only allows ADA dogs, not pets. You have customers and employees that are allergic to dogs or for religious reasons can't be touched by dogs. You can very well fail health inspection and be fined, and sued by customers who don't find this amusing. Many high end places such as Butterfield Market have no-pet signs and enforce them.
Absolutely AMAZING food!!! I had a sandwich and it was delicious!!!! Best sandwich i’ve ever had. Everything is so fresh, and tastes amazing! Will definitely be going back!
Mangia is one of my favorite lunch spots when I want variety without sacrificing quality. The lunch buffet is genuinely excellent—everything tastes fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully seasoned. There’s a great range of options, so you can keep it light or build a very satisfying plate, and nothing feels like filler. ★★★★☆Lots of food to pick from. Some buffet style food and some order at the counter. There is also a smallish bakery. There are some vegetarian selections but all things considered not that many, hence the 4 star rating. What I had was good and large. Service was reasonable fast. Finding a seat can be challenging as there aren't a lot of them. It is maybe more of a grab and go place. Its near central park so that's an option.
Absolutely fantastic bite to eat. The pizza freshly made before yr eyes and tastes sooo goooood. Definitely recommend
