The Gurdwara Sahib in Yuba City🛕🕌 is a beautiful and serene place for worship and community gatherings🙇🏻. The architecture and atmosphere truly embody Sikh values, creating a peaceful environment for reflection and prayer. The volunteers are welcoming, and the langar (community kitchen) offers delicious food that’s served with love and humility. They host significant events, like the annual Nagar Kirtan, which is wonderfully organized and attended by people from all over. It’s a place that brings the community together🧑‍🤝‍🧑👭👬👫 and allows everyone to connect with their faith. Visiting the Gurdwara Sahib is always a spiritually uplifting experience. 🙏🏻

I have been going for the last three years to the Nagar Kirtan and I gotta tell you it’s getting worse. The experience of them showing former prime minister Indira Gandhi getting killed how Sikhs in India the genocide I just think for a place of worship for them to encourage all the posters and videos on their property. It’s not called for.

Religious place which could never be rated, you get what you seek there. This time of year that is first weekend of November is considered to be one of the biggest get together in American history for Nagar Kirtan here known as Sikh Parade. Over 100k visitors across the world come here to pay their respect and taste rich and vibrant colours of Punjabi culture. Free food, large number of volunteers and religious faith makes it an experience. Local shops and fire works add more festivity to the occasion.

Waheguru ji ki Fateh! 🙏🌸** What an incredible experience once again at **Yuba City Nagar Kirtan 2025!** 🌸🍛✨ The energy, the devotion, and the sense of community were absolutely beautiful. 💛 Every year this event reminds me of the power of *seva* and unity. All the **volunteers** were doing an *amazing job* serving langar with so much love and humility! 🍛🙏✨ From the delicious food to the smiles of those serving, it truly reflects the spirit of Sikhi. 💫 A big **thank you to Yuba City PD** 🚓🙏 for maintaining complete law and order and ensuring everyone’s safety throughout the day. Your presence really made a difference, especially with such a large crowd. 👏 I’ve been attending this blessed event for the past **10 years**, and it always feels like home. 💜 However, this was my first time arriving around **1 PM on Sunday**, and I noticed something worth sharing for future improvements. 🌞 When taking the **shuttle to and from the event**, there were quite a few people skipping the line on the way in, which later became a bigger issue on the way out. 🚍 A single-file system wasn’t being enforced, leading to confusion and crowding when thousands tried to leave at once. While the **Yuba City PD** stepped in and placed barriers to bring order 🙏—which helped—the situation had already escalated, and unfortunately, many people (including seniors) had to wait in the heat for over 2 hours, with a few feeling unwell. ☀️🥵 This feedback is only meant in the *spirit of improvement* 🌸🙏 —because such an extraordinary event truly deserves *flawless execution!* For next year, perhaps more **volunteers or signage near shuttle entry and exit zones** could help maintain smooth movement and comfort for all attendees. 🚍💛 Overall, an **amazing event** filled with faith, food, and love. 🍛🌸✨ Huge respect to the **organizers and sevadars** who make this possible every single year. 🙏👏 See you all again next year — even stronger, more organized, and more blessed! 💛🌸🍛✨ **Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh! 🙏🌸** ---

I really forgot that I was in the US when I visited this place. Such a peaceful and blessed place. Langar was also awesome. You can call Mini Punjabi to Yuba City. Almost More than 20k Punjabis are there.

Very good location, peaceful n lungar was best. Punjabi's r pride of India. God bless entire community.

The Sikh Temple of Yuba City in Yuba City, California was opened on October 21, 1969 and serves over 20,000 Sikhs in the area which is home to many Sikhs and Punjabis. The Gurdwara has a main Langar hall and prayer hall.
