Awesomely fun visit with 6yo & 8yo! Wasn't too busy and the kids were entertained for over 2hrs. I had to gently pull them away as they were still playing. Other parents were attentive, the whole place was clean, a great place.

Visitor notes
I'm not sure why these are called museums but these are great places for kids to come and play and explore a variety of different toys and exhibits. Everything is indoors and there's plenty of staff around to help out and keep things somewhat organized. Depending on when you go it can be a little crowded (with rainy/cold weekend days probably the busiest) but given the fairly large number of areas and some separation of the rooms it naturally divides up the kids a bit. There are several planned activities during the day (like storytime) and a small designated area for under 2 year old kids. There are also 2 art rooms, one with paints, for slightly older kids but be prepared for some mess. There is also a room that can be rented for birthdays or other events. I really like that there are plenty of places for adults to sit and watch if their kid finds something to keep them occupied for a bit. Parking is easy and the location is easy to get to right off of Hwy 50. Overall I'd say this is suitable mostly for kids under 10. There are a lot of active kids running around so little ones will need to watch out a bit but that's true of any playground. Definitely worth the money for a day trip or membership if you're in the area.
What a wonderful place for kids and parents! Fantastic. So many fun play areas! ADA compliant, large family restrooms & cubbies, toddler area, multicultural. You can buy a membership too. I suggest any with a kid 7 and under should visit this place a few times!
What a fantastic museum for kids! The interactive exhibits kept my child fully engaged, and everything felt intentionally designed to support learning through play. The staff were warm, friendly, and engaging from the moment we arrived, which made our first visit especially memorable. We were pleasantly surprised and grateful that our science centre membership was honoured while traveling — it made it so easy to say yes to this visit. Highly recommend for families, whether local or visiting.
Great fun for my 4.5yro. We spent almost 3hrs there and she didn't even explore it all. Especially loved the international industries exhibit. Would be a regular visitor if we lived closer. Very reasonable admission rates as well. Definitely worth a visit with your kiddos if you're a local or if you’re in town visiting someone it's a great place for your kid to run about, explore, and engage with other kids especially during the hot summer.
Our first time here. My daughter is almost 3 and on the spectrum. I was worried it would be too crowded and too noisy for her like other play places we have tried. She did very well though and they have so many sensory things for her to play with. They have different area's like a little house area and grocery store. They have a room for coloring and painting. We will definitely be back. The staff is nice and the place is clean. Wanted to update! We have come here many times and on our most recent visit it was very busy and loud. My daughter who is autistic with some sensory issues was chewing the heck out of her necklace and covering her ears. The nice lady at the register noticed and offered for us to borrow noise canceling head phones. I didn't even know they did that! It was very nice of her to notice and offer. We really love this place.
Fun place interaction for the Smalls, up to 10 years old Have a great time there a lot of fun interaction stuff going on
It's a very cool place for kids. They will be interested and informative, as well as very fun. My daughter really liked it, we'll definitely come again. Thank you, everyone was very friendly and well prepared.
