Emmett's Brewing Company

I believe this was the second or third time at Emmett‘s Enjoyed a very good burger previously and tonight my appetite called for the ribeye steak, which was by no means a mistake. Extremely tasty and well prepared. The service here is has been exemplary. Admittedly, I’m a craft brew guy and I would love to see them kick up their craft crew game, as a brewery I have to say I think they could do better. Nevertheless, recommend Emmets for sure!

The food was delicious and well priced. They have a nice selection for there own craft beers. You should be able to find something to fit your taste. My only complaint is that it is 45 minutes away from where I live. However, I hope to find my way back there one day!

Brewery with indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent selection of beers available though not much for non alcoholic beer. Menu options are wide ranging, and the burger I had was excellent. Their daily specials can make your meal quite affordable. We’ll be back next week.

I am gluten intolerant. I ordered off the Gluten Free Menu. I got a burger with the GF bun and sweet potato mash as my side. That was it. I knew at the table there was gluten/cross contamination. I started to feel sick before I even left. I would not recommend this place for people with gluten Allergies. They have not yet figured out how to avoid cross contamination.

Met some friends on a Monday night since their Daily Special was half priced burgers. Located in downtown Palatine near the train station,parking can be an issue. Luckily it was not too crowded and we found parking nearby. The restaurant was not very crowded and we were seated immediately. They have a nice beer selection so I tried their Red Ale named the Vendetta. 6.3ABV. It was OK. Their food menu is quite large but pricey. They do offer a gluten free menu and they have Daily Specials which they list on their Web site. We started with an order of potato skins which were overcooked and dry. I tried the Gaucho Burger that was supposed to have a Tajin seasoned steak burger ( I did not taste Tajin) ,Guacamole,Pico,Cheddar Cheese and Tortilla Strips. This burger was lacking in flavor. I asked for Medium Well and everyone's burgers were overcooked. The Guacamole tasted store bought,the cheese was cold and not melted and the Tortilla Strips were stale. Thank goodness I only paid half of the normal 18.00 they charge. I really had high hopes for this place but with so many brewpubs in the Northwest suburbs,I probably won't go back.

This is a very high end brewery less than a block from the Palatine train station. I stopped in for the $4 tacos and pints (Tuesday special) before going home after my train ride. Service was exceptional quick. I had the tacos in less than five minutes. I had fish, steak, and chicken. The dressing on all of them was a mixture of cabbage, salsa and spicy mayo. I squeezed lime on them. Although the tacos' dressing was very good, I would have different toppings for each protein if I were running the kitchen. It worked extremely well for the fish taco. Kind of drowned out the chicken. And didn't really complement the steak. And they were a little light on the protein relative to the toppings. But I am quibbling. As for the beer, I ordered the Worlds End IPA and it was very good. Their pints are generous 20 ounce glasses. He also gave me samples of the Scotch Ale and the Barleywine. It's been a while since I have had either because I am a hophead. But it was nice to sample them. I will stick with the IPA. I wish I had been coming here the last couple weeks since I got to town on this business trip. I think the half price burgers on Mondays would be very interesting. This place sets the standard.

We just had a celebration of life luncheon for my dad at Emmett's. They were so accommodating. Service was wonderful. Food good. Ravs reviews from the family. Thank you so much for the team at Emmett's for giving us a memorable party for dad
