Visitor notes
A hidden free gem in my neighborhood. And I only found it because it was starred on Google Maps on the UWS and I got curious. Learned a lot, saw the beautiful art paired with amazing scents from the fragrance exhibition, really welcoming staff at the reception desk. Magnets and postcards in the small gift shop made my visit complete. Would visit again!
A lovely free-access, donation-based museum in a townhouse. Excellent way to spend 45 min to one hour when in the neighborhood. Got to learn about the artist, his life, and contributions to the art world and peace efforts.
This is a hidden gem! Cool historical photos of Roerich with Henry Wallace! Amazing art, copper enamel art including a copper enamel freize. Love it! Pay what you want.
A beautiful setting for equally beautiful artwork. Learning about the life and history of Nicholas Roerich truly enriched my visit and gave deeper meaning to his pieces. The museum is free to the public, though donations are welcomed—and well deserved. A peaceful and inspiring experience that feels like a step into another world. Highly recommended for art lovers and curious minds alike.
