Old World Restaurant & Biergarten

Fantastic atmosphere and location to hang out and watch sports events. Came to watch the World Cup Canada vs Morocco, and admission was free. The Biergarten is huge with lots of TVs, seating, food and beverage options. You order at any one of the counters like a cafeteria, and staff are there to help clear your table once finished. They also have a large indoor area with huge projectors and a stage for shows. The food was decent, tried the large pretzel but the salt flakes were super salty. The bread of the hot dog was extremely dry. Come for the vibes, they are great.

We had a family lunch here on Sunday, and it was a wonderful experience. The selection of food and beverages was excellent. I ordered the Polish-style hot dog, and my husband chose the pork schnitzel with German potato salad—both were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We were also impressed by the wide variety of beers; it was really hard to choose just one! We will definitely be coming back to try more items from the menu.

My family and I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The food was authentic German and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, including the polish dog with all the trimmings and a few of the beers. It’s a great place for both small and large groups.

Old World Biergarten Restaurant & Bar is the closest I’ve found to truly authentic German cuisine, and it’s genuinely delicious. The dishes have that hearty, comforting depth you expect from old‑world cooking. The gravies and stews were rich, savory, and full of flavor — exactly what traditional German food should deliver. Their Spätzle, the classic German egg noodle, could have been even better if it were made from scratch, but everything else on the plate carried the experience. One standout was the sauerkraut — honestly some of the best I’ve tasted. They add little bacon bits that give it a smoky, savory edge without overpowering the tang. It’s simple, but incredibly well done. Overall, Old World Biergarten offers a warm, authentic taste of Germany, and it’s a spot I’m glad to have discovered.

Super cool German restaurant within a super cool little "village" area. Excellent (authentic) pork Schnitzel (they have a chicken option). They have spaetzle normally, but they were serving a limited menu because the world cup so i didnt get to try it. They did have a spezi (german soda of cola and orange flavor) which was authentic and delicious. Excellent service and atmosphere. Definitely worth the visit! Added it to my favorites list!

If you want the retro tourist American biergarten experience you can't go wrong with Old World restaurant. A wide menu of reliable traditional food with genial waiters makes a pleasant experience for those looking for food which used to be commonplace but now is novelty or nostalgia. A place to enjoy on many levels especially for its rarity in SoCal.

The food and beer was fantastic with good serving size. My husband and I ordered two items from their small bites menu, the sausage trio and the Jager fries. We shared and it was more than enough for both of us. However, their signs for seating is a bit confusing. For outside seating, there is a sign that says please see server inside but when you go inside, there is another sign that says please seat yourself and there was no hostess.

Fun Bavarian themed restaurant! We tried the house baked Bavarian pretzel, Nürnberger bratwurst, bockwurst, vegan beyond sausage, spicy ginger chickpea soup, kremes, cinnamon stick, and bernliner krapfen. We drank German beer and mulled wine. We truly enjoyed everything. Stand outs were the pretzel, Nürnberger bratwurst, mulled wine and cinnamon stick pastry. Larger parties have gratuity added to their bill. Highly recommend this place of you are looking for authentic German sausages!
