Graves Bros. installed my roof for me a few years ago but I noticed a few issues recently. I called them and they quickly set up a service call for me. They sent Dave C. out to access the situation and make the repair, he was great! Very professional and knowledgeable, I wouldn’t want anyone else. There has been a laughably preposterous amount of shoddy workmanship, unaccountability, and total disregard for urgency since Graves installed a tear-off roof for us in summer of 2023. I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time over the last two years calling, emailing, and waiting for my 'new' roof to be patched up, re-worked, and repaired. Their initial communications were all around building trust, their extensive residential and commercial portfolio, premium materials, and 'Presidential' awards. However, Graves clearly lacked / lacks experience with historic city roofs and has left our home consistently exposed. An 1875 tear-off roof should not have a been an exploratory expedition for such a storied company. Their decision to use unaffiliated and unlicensed workers drew the attention of the city inspector. They have repeatedly sent subcontractors as opposed to their own staff for warranty repairs. Put simply, our house is worse off since using Graves. The summarized unfortunate events: - Initial roof install April 2023 - Work stops for hours due to unlicensed subcontractors / no permit - Attorney intervenes on initial work and work is completed 8/23-9/23 - Warranty repair (wind) 2/24 - Warranty repair (rear flat roof leak) 6/24 - Warrantly repair (of new gutters and downspouts) 6/24 - Warranty repair (interior from flat roof leak) 7/24 - Warranty repair (chimney leak into second floor bathroom) 4/25 - Warranty repair fix prior chimney repair, fix missed gutter placement, fix mis-aligned gutter 8/25 I am currently still waiting for interior repairs caused by this significant chimney flashing leak in April of 2025 and the following outstanding Items: - Interior repair from chimney leak - No explanation for bubbling on EPDM flat roof - No explanation for top-most sloped roof existing gutter removal - No explanation for keeping French drain / downspout on now covered low-sloped rear roof While I am appreciative of the repairs, I was hoping this substantial investment would have been done correctly from day one.

Team Graves Brothers is an efficient team of hard working.people. Arriving promptly 6:50 to start a 12 hour job and completing the roofing job in one day. Pleasant people to deal with throughout the project. Can't wait for them to come back in the Spring to do the siding.

Devin and his team were amazing. Complete tear off and all new plywood. Done in one day, and constant communication throughout the day. No damage to anything, and cleaned up all debris. Loved my pets too! Highly recommend. Before and after photos.

"Trust the process" was what was told to me at the beginning of the project. A truer statement was never spoken. The journey to re-side this house (ranch plus an additional garage) was longer than expected but in the end, was worth the journey. The customer service is its highlight. All questions and concerns were addressed through the process, willingness to share ideas on how to make the project better, and flexibility on all sides led to its completion and satisfaction of monies spent and curb appeal improvement. Team of Joe, Adam, and Rick always wanted to please and seemed to care about my happiness and the home's improvement even leaving with . . . "if you need us, please feel free to call at any time." That statement in itself builds confidence in the trust factor.

I had a mixed bag of emotions with the installation of my windows and patio door. A lot of Mia communication between the first person who came and the ones actually doing the work. Unfortunately we had much communication as to when project would start and not all materials were ready for installation on first day. The length of the project was never divulged but first communication was this would be done in the same day. It took 4. They also got me on a technicality that they were not responsible for any indoor trim appearance, just the outside. And if i wanted some trim fixed inside it would cost additional funds.

I just have to post again about how happy with the services from Graves Brothers. This is my second review and I only write reviews when I’m extremely satisfied. Not only is their service the best service I’ve ever experienced for my roof, but they have the most professional and skilled people working for them. Recently I had an issue because of the storm and they were over within hours, even though they were so booked up. This can’t always happen but they could tell I was frantic. Dave Cremen and a young man came to my house, solved the problem and explained to me how to book a future repair. He also took the time to tell me what was wrong with the roof. The company was amazing in booking the appointment and were as usual extremely courteous on the phone. It’s so rare that there’s a company like this and such amazing workers as Dave that I just had to post another great review.

Julian did a terrific job inspecting our roof and replacing shingles that had been ripped off and damaged in the recent storms. In addition to the roof repairs were shingles were missing he was thorough, making sure to tack down and seal places where wind damage had caused potential future issues across the rest of the roof as well. I recommend Graves Brothers for this type of work.
