We stopped by this Jewish café on a Monday morning, right when it opened around 8 a.m. The place was completely empty at that hour, and they were just getting started for the day. The café itself looked inviting, with lots of freshly baked breads and house-made items on display. However, there was no printed menu, which made things a bit confusing for us as first-time visitors — it felt more like a neighborhood spot where locals already know what to order. The server/owner also wasn’t particularly engaging, so we had to figure out most things ourselves. I ordered a hot coffee, and my friend chose a bottled cold coffee. They also had a live sandwich counter where you pick your bread and fillings, and they prepare it fresh. I chose a freshly baked sesame-crusted, elongated bread (not sure of the specific name), and my friend picked a similar round version. For the filling, I went with scallion cream cheese, lox, onion, and other classic toppings. He opted for the Hungarian egg salad. Both sandwiches were incredibly fresh — great bread, high-quality ingredients, and very filling. We also bought a box of assorted Jewish pastries, all of which were freshly made and delicious.

The fries on pizza is crazy good.

The food here is very fresh and prepared daily. My order was prepared in a timely manner, especially after I walked in and discovered they only just then received the order and began preparing it upon my arrival. It only took about 10 minutes and the food was very good.

Very nice people to deal with. Very accommodating. Good for all ages. My second time doing parties there. Highly recommend!
