Went there this past January to celebrate my younger Sister Ashley birthday which happens to land on the same day as one of our favorite artists ever "Goth Metal legend "Peter Steele" R.I.P brother! and "Duff's Bar" was awesome and I can't wait to go again we are from The South Bronx but worth the trip indeed! Rock On My "Metal" Brothers and Sisters!.❤️‍🔥🧐🤟

Drinks are ridiculously well priced! The vibe inside is great - heavy metal memorabilia everywhere. Fun “electric chair” in the back. It’s fun to watch people not aware of its one wander in… then wander out.

Unfortunately a far cry from a metal bar. Really nice staff so zero knock against them but to advertise yourself as a metal bar and then play nothing but 80s piano and skip anything remotely metal… is beyond a lie. Music is great and varied but if you’re looking for a metal bar, you’ll be disappointed. TLDR. The most metal thing about this bar is the handle on the toilet.

Such a fun and eclectic bar! I loved all of the details in the aesthetic and my margarita was great. The bartender was incredibly kind and returned cash that fell from my wallet, which I obviously appreciated. Definitely recommend!

I came all the way from Manhattan to Brooklyn with my family because my father is a huge heavy metal fan and he was really excited to visit this place. When we arrived and went to order, they told me I needed my passport (I’m 25 years old). I showed my physical ID and even offered to show any additional proof on my phone, but they still wouldn’t allow me to stay in the bar. In the end, my entire family and I had to leave after making the trip specifically for this place. A real disappointment.

Duff's, Brooklyn is a sanctuary for metalheads, a in a city infected by pop, autotune and repetitive empty tunes, this bar stands a lone for the few metal spirits out there. The bar is packed with memorabilia, and a lot of the decoration is dedicated to local rockstar Peter Steele, creating an intense atmosphere that says heavy metal! Great music, cold beer. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the bartender knows how to pour a strong one. It's a dive bar with a unique vibe, where you can let loose and enjoy the raw energy. Whether you're there for the music, the drinks, or the unapologetically gritty ambiance, Duff's delivers a one-of-a-kind experience. Just be ready for a wild night. The only bad thing; Restroom stink badly.

Must go bar if you're into metal. Great staff, tunes, and atmosphere. Even if you dont like metal, you will enjoy yourself here

This place has become one of my favorite dives. If you’re a metal fan, you’ll love the decor and music. The drinks are dirt cheap ($4 for a well drink) so it’s a great low budget night out option.
