I’ve been here quite regular, Kane has amazing knowledge, very welcoming and friendly. Tanks always look pristine. If you’re looking for something specific, they can most likely order it in for you. If there’s a problem, they will try their utmost to sort it out. I love this shop!

I brought 3 beautiful fancy goldfish from this place, when brought home they was perfect then one after the other they all started getting sick and dying firstly onw just died out of nowhere, could of just been a horrible tragedy but then the second got really sick, bloated tummy, fluffy cotton like spots on on fins and started swimming upside down and after a day of this died, now the third fish had always looked a bit ill but i thought nothing of it then she started rotting, her fins, tail even body everything (picture below) till eventually she couldn’t swim anymore and sadly passed away. I know that the fish suppler is the problem because I have another fancy goldfish from another store and I have had no issues with him at all, no sickness or health issues at all. Water was checked daily and cleaned regularly.only had the 3 a few weeks and paid £43, not worth it at all and would not recommend this store!

Went for the first time today after finding out this place existed recently. Shop is incredible. Loads of fish,plants, coral etc. All looks to be in great condition and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable even when I was asking quite basic questions. I will happily go back and happy to recommend them

To be honest, I was sceptical because I ordered sand from Delta Aquarium (their new name) for collection in store. Got the order confirmation but heard nothing about collection. Tried to call numerous times and sent a WhatsApp - all with no reply. The one time they answered they hung up straight away. So I wasn't going to go there again and especially not to get any fish. However, the species I wanted I was struggling to come by elsewhere. I called twice with queries and they did answer both times and the chap was extremely friendly and helpful. When I went into the shop, it was bustling with activity - fish being acclimatised in various tanks, orders being unpacked etc. All tanks I saw, the fish were in good condition, happy, active and well cared for. The chap I dealt with was the same chap I had spoken to on the phone - extremely pleasant and helpful and clearly passionate about the aquatic animals he looks after and knowledgeable about aquatics. This was a million miles away from the impression a lot of the reviews for Delta Aquarium portrayed. Note, currently there's still a listing on Google for Angel and Delta. Angel's listing is full of excellent reviews, but Delta it's a much more mixed picture - many people reporting dead or poorly fish on arrival and having no luck getting through to anyone for assistance. Perhaps they haven't quite refined their shipping processes yet or they have received more orders than they can handle. If so, they perhaps need to moderate how many online orders they are accepting at a time, so they can provide the required care to fish and customers alike. Anyway, based on all of this, would I order from them for delivery - no. To be honest, I don't really agree with this anyway for fish. However, speaking as I find, the experience in store was excellent and I'll certainly go back there for the additional species. Excellent place and so far the fish I got from them seem happy and healthy, but of course I'll update the review if that changes.

If I could give 0 I would, bought 5 (2 different species) fish from here end of last week, all 5 have died!! Phoned up absolutely zero help said it was down to my water yet all my other fish are alive and said I must have aggressive fish in my tank!! Asked me for proof how am I ment to give proof if the fish have died over a few days and the other fish have eaten the bodies for example my bristlenoses. I will not be purchasing from here again and I will.be informing family and friends not to either!

I have been buying my fish from Angel Aquatics for nearly four years, and my fish are thriving. The staff is exceptionally patient with someone like me, friendly, well-knowlegeable, and HELPFUL. They can also do special orders for any fish, plant, turtles, frogs, shrimps, decor you need 👌

Super knowledgeable and took the time to help out. I went in with no specific idea on what I wanted other then “feature fish”. Dez went out of his way to talk the options through with me and we settled on Electric blue rams he picked out a lovely male and female for me and then Kane assisted at check out. Brilliant shop for amateur and experienced hobbyists alike. I myself have five fish tanks on the go and have always gone to angel aquatics for my fish and haven’t had one issue to date. Truly an awesome local fish shop and I wouldn’t recommend any other over them. Thanks guys!
