North Bay Park

Great place for a long walk while enjoying nature! My son and I walked our dog around the loop - well not actually in a complete loop, we had to turn around and walk the other way because there was a male swan guarding a couple nesting mamas who made it clear he didn’t want our dog passing! He didn’t seem to mind humans alone, but definitely didn’t trust any dogs to get close. We also saw turtles, fish, several different birds, and geese (with goslings!). My son enjoyed trying out the exercise stations along the path, as well as climbing on fallen trees and peering into the water. Our dog loved all the new smells and was interested in all the wildlife. Today was one of the first beautiful spring days so it felt good to spend some time outdoors. We’ll definitely return several times before the next winter season!

walked the dogs around the loop- was a beautiful spring day and we enjoyed a breezy walk among other walkers and a few bikers. a couple parts of the trail needed some upkeep (washed away) but overall a really lovely experience. nice looking playground at the front and there was plenty of parking up by the road.

North Bay Park is a very cool place to visit if your into walking the boardwalk, taking photos, identifying wildlife and just relaxing to the sounds of nature

$3 day pass, Great park! Playground, Pavillion, picnic tables and charcoal grills near the parking lot. A little walk down the path brings you to the board walk over the lake with a couple bridges and sight seeing platform that provide great shade for a picnic. Multiple benches on the land trail connecting the board walk across the lake.

Boardwalk, bridges and look out deck. Lots of geese, swans and fish jumping. No swimming, not that you'd want to. Around 2 miles round trip but killer hill at the end. Didnt use the playground area.

I was really pleasantly surprised by this park. The lake is beautiful and the boardwalk is pretty well maintained. It's relaxing and there's a nice breeze. Lots of cool interactions with animals. It didn't take long at all to finish this trail, but you could definitely spend some time here just taking in the views.

This gem of a park will not disappoint. The park is situated at the mouth of the Huron River dumping into Lake Ford. Apart of a larger ecosystem called the Huron River Basin, which encompasses over 1050 lakes and ponds, created by Glaciers. You will see diversity in mammals, and aquatic creatures. This area is a bit beat up, but I would still feel comfortable taking an Individual w/disabilities on the trail, including mobility devices such as a wheel chair or walker.
