Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse - Clear Lake

Went here for my birthday dinner. They gave me a cute little cupcake puck instead of the normal one. The salad bar and side options were fresh and had a wide variety of what you could get. They even had chopsticks to eat the sushi with. The meat service was exceptional. When I passed on three things they came over and asked specifically what I was looking for. The filet rivals any I have eaten anywhere else. Will be returning.

Avenida Brazil Churrascaria Steakhouse is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. The meats are cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the nonstop tableside service keeps it coming. The salad bar has a great variety and is actually worth going through. Staff was attentive and the atmosphere was on point.

I would give Avenida 2.5 out of 5 stars. There were some things we genuinely enjoyed, but the overall experience fell short of what I expected from a Brazilian steakhouse. The biggest disappointment was the quality of several of the meat cuts. The issue was not how they were cooked or the temperature at which they were served. Rather, the meat itself lacked tenderness and quality. Several cuts were noticeably tough and chewy. The salmon was also underwhelming and did not taste particularly fresh. That said, there were some excellent highlights. The lamb chops, baby beef, and shrimp were by far the best items we tried and are absolutely worth requesting. The grilled asparagus and grilled panela cheese were also outstanding. If you visit, don’t forget to ask for chiles toreados. They pair wonderfully with the meats and add a great kick of flavor. The value proposition is where Avenida struggles the most. It costs only about $15 less than Gaucho’s, yet the difference in food quality, consistency, and customer service is much greater than the price difference suggests. I believe Avenida has two choices: either invest in better-quality meats and elevate the overall dining experience to justify its pricing, or keep the current quality but lower the price enough to make it a truly competitive value. At its current price point, I would personally recommend spending the extra $15 and enjoying the higher-quality experience at Gaucho’s.

This is the best Brazilian steakhouse in Houston and the surrounding areas. I’ve tried several, Texas de Brazil, Chama Gaúcha, Taurao, and Fogo de Chão, and NONE of them compare to the quality of the food, service, attention to detail, or side dishes. We came for my mother-in-law’s birthday, and they even gave her a complimentary dessert (a full-size dessert, not a tiny sample). We left extremely happy and satisfied. This is without a doubt the place I would come back to again and again. We came for lunch, and my children under 2 years old ate for free. And $42.99 per person for lunch??? It’s the best place I’ve tried so far. If I could give them a thousand stars, I would!

We had a wonderful time. This was our first visit period and Felix did a great job taking care of us. all the wait staff were excellent . and we would highly recommend this to anyone and everyone we know. my friends from Sagemont Church recommended this restaurant and we're very pleased . Our visit for our 20th anniversary visit. thank you.

This place is worth the money and how I have long craved for a Brazilian steakhouse. My coworkers recommended this place to enjoy for my anniversary and I love their quality of food, exceptional service and treatment of guests. The staff were very polite and treated my anniversary with special care. Each food served to me was meaningful with the taste of passion and delicacy. The drink recommendation from the server was phenomenal and complimented very well with the grilled food that exploded with wonderful spices. I definitely look forward to going back to this place and highly recommend others to try it out.

Great Brazilian steakhouse! It was about $62/person. Went for a birthday. The restaurant has all you can eat meat, sides, and salads. They bring meat to your table and slice it right in front of you. The main strength of the restaurant is the large variety of high quality food. There was an excellent selection of meat which was very tender and well seasoned. The meat included beef, pork, chicken etc. Additionally they served seafood like shrimp, scallops, and salmon. I particularly enjoyed the fried scallop. Along with the meats, they bring some hot sides to your table. My favorite was the cheesy potato, which was very creamy and gooey. The fried plantains were also pretty good. There is a salad/pasta bar had a large selection of vegetables, cheeses, pasta, cured meats, and fish prepared in several ways. I recommend the ahi tuna, salmon ceviche, and pasta salad. Finally, we had a delicious flan for dessert. The servers were all quick and professional. They were very patient in explaining the rules and will bring out meats upon request. Highly recommend this spot for a special occasion!

We came here for our 6 Year Anniversary and had an amazing experience. Salad bar was great (highly recommend the lobster bisque) and the meat and cut variety was excellent. A huge shout out to Felix who was not only an excellent server but also made us feel well taken care of on our special date. Would recommend and return again!
