Abi’s Falafel

We had a great experience at Abi's Falafel! We ordered the maza platter, beef shawarma, chicken shawarma salad, and baklava, and everything was fresh and authentic. The beef shawarma was the standout—the best I've had so far. The maza platter was light and refreshing, and my favorites were the falafel and eggplant salad. The portions are incredibly generous, so it'll definitely take a few more visits to work our way through the menu! The owner was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful hospitality. We'll definitely be back!

I came in for lunch on a Wednesday at 12:15. The restaurant has 6 4-person tables, 3 2-person tables, and outdoor seating. First impressions: friendly welcome, clean restaurant, appealing display case, and easy to read signs. • They have a delicious lunch special at an affordable price: choice of sandwich (Chicken Shawarma, Beef Shawarma, or Falafel pita), side of seasoned fries (delicious!), and a fountain drink with unlimited refills (in house dining). Currently $16. • We also ordered a side of the beet salad - a generous portion and tasty! • There was lots of traffic in (take out). Always a good sign. 😊 • The restaurant was nicely decorated and on an unreasonably warm day, the air was perfect! Do yourself a favor and check out Abi's Falafel!

As someone who is Middle Eastern, I’m pretty picky when it comes to Middle Eastern food, and this place absolutely delivers. The food is authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. The chicken kabob was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and not dry at all. The hummus was delicious, creamy, with the perfect balance of garlic and lemon, finished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil just as it should be. The warm pita bread was fresh. This is easily some of the best Middle Eastern food around in Connecticut. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Few establishments deliver it all but Abi's knocks it out of the park. Customer service is top notch 🔥 Food is EXCEPTIONAL and the vibe welcoming. Solo diners like myself, couples, & families will all feel at home here. Outdoor seating for those who prefer to dine al fresco. A recent revelation (probably for the best lol) is they have a full bar. Order the Margarita and thank me later. I drive 30 min to dine here as I dont live in the area. Fairfield county is lucky to have this gem.

Abi’s Falafel was excellent! Johnny was great and made the experience even better. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. I came with my family, and everyone loved it especially the beef shawarmas. Great service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Palestinian cuisine is my personal favorite and when l tell you this place is 10/10 l mean it’s absolutely delicious. The food is so fresh and flavorful and the place smells amazing with the flavors. Very friendly atmosphere and Johnnie treats you like a family! I had a falafel platter and it bursted with the flavor. The portions are also very generous! So glad we have this gem spot in CT! ❤️❤️

Absolutely blown away by the food. It was fresh and the salmon was cooked to perfection. The pita bread was warm and delicate. I’ve never been a fan of hummus but even the hummus was amazing. I sat in and the service and atmosphere was so welcoming. Super clean. Super tasty. This place is almost 40 minutes from me, but it was worth the drive. I’ll be back asap.

Warmly greeted right upon entering the restaurant. Amazing beef shawarma and fries freshly made and unbelievably seasoned, you’d feel you travelled to Middle Eastern! I’m a foodie and this is the best by far of shawarma and falafel I’ve tasted! I enjoyed every bits of it! Great view and ambiance! Owner is absolutely wonderful and personable. We would definitely visit again and bring friends next time!
