Beautiful place to visit! They have spaces for rent with your RV, also restrooms, picnic tables and grills , a little area of playground, they is one area just to swim and is really nice and safe ( not deep ) then the other side is for boats and you can enjoy the beautiful view sit and relax. The lake is very clean and really big. I definitely coming back with my kids to this place !

Such a peaceful and lovely place to camp. This was our second visit and it was just as amazing as our first. We camped at the west campground last year. The host on the west side was phenomenal. She was extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't meet the camp host at the east campground but the gentleman in the bait shop was very kind and welcoming. The campgrounds are clean and well maintained. :-)

Had a beautiful Memorial Day weekend, so blessed to have gotten the last spot on the lake with such an exquisite view! The restrooms were clean and so was the entire site! I will say the lake in the water needs cleaned, there's broken glass, we have opted to wear water shoes on our next visit. Dogs had a blast as the sites were private enough for them to not feel edgy being in a new place. They also have play equipment and a little shop on site.

We tried to check out the lake to see if it was busy/warm, this is pretty normal since nobody is ever at the office, we where approached by an older woman, who asked if we paid, we explained to her that we where just checking to see if it was busy and where leaving, she then says we can get some kind of visitor pass that is not listed at the front gate, which by the way did not have any envelope’s and was supposed to be paid online. She insulted me, and said she was speaking English, so I drove away and flipped her off, I pulled up to the office area where she was already parked, then asked her what her name was, she refused to tell me her name, said she was old and forgot, then threatened to report me to the police for something I didn’t know was not allowed in all the years I’ve been going here, this is really sad that this lake has come to this.

Camped on a weekend. This place is great! Was not busy. Found a good spot for when it gets busy and you still feel like your by yourself. Bathroom are clean. The only complaint, which is not the park’s fault, the roads leading to the park are in rough shape. Need to go slow when pulling a camper. The wildlife is in abundance. Most definitely recommend this place!!

Not $40RV+ $10 boat fee/day quality! This has been our go-to lake for fishing and camping, but it is way overpriced for what it is… We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, fishing, and trails—but for what we paid for a weekend is what we could have spent to be at Keystone or some resorts in OKC all week! We would expect improvements in site maintenance, amenities, and accessibility! The camp host was very kind and friendly though. For now, it’s a great spot if you’re okay with more primitive conditions, but those expecting improvements for RV sites or fully ADA-compliant facilities should plan accordingly or skip this park altogether. We do not plan to return unless they lower prices. Pricing vs. Value The cost has increased significantly. RV campsites now $40/night, plus an additional $10/day for a boat. They are NOT honoring last year’s member pass policies which included you boating fee—so expect to pay another fee even if you purchased a 2026 pass. That was not shared with us until after our reservation was made during this last camping trip—needless to say we left the boat at home and decided to take the boat to nearby free lakes and book more time at Keystone, Thunderbird, and even Pawnee lakes for the rest of the season! $40+ additional fee pricing would be reasonable if the facilities and campsites were updated to match, but unfortunately that hasn’t been the case. I understand charging those fees during football season, but not any other time and here’s why: No full hookups, all uneven gravel sites, a few with broken electrical boxes, broken down tables, must-share hydrants in some sites (bring your own two-way valve), only 1 ADA compliant RV site ~6 miles away from the ADA trail and nicer bathrooms, many safety hazards, no discounts for members/veterans/responders/reservists/disabled, and poorly maintained boating docks (boat parking is another story). RV & Campsite Conditions -Campsites are still not level, which can be challenging for RV setups. -Many campsites have serious tripping hazards, sharp edges, unsafe benches so make sure your kiddos are safety aware! -Water and electric hookups are positioned at the front of the site (west side) right near the RV door—which creates hassle and a tripping hazard. (East side) -Only 1 RVsite has a pedestal grill in the entire park. -No full hookups. -Sites fairly primitive (ants, uneven ground, shared water access), which doesn’t align with the current pricing. Amenities (Bathrooms & Showers) -Bathrooms are functional but often only “okay” in cleanliness. -Showers are only located on the west side. There is an ambulatory stall, but no true ADA-compliant shower. -The east side has just one shared bathroom for campers and day/event users combined—no showers and far away from RV and tent camping. Accessibility -While there are designated “ADA” or handicapped sites, they are better described as accessible-friendly rather than ADA-compliant. -The tent ADA (NOT COMPLIANT) site has a gravel path with a slope that does not meet ADA standards. Path of travel has no railing even though it surpasses the allowed ADA ramp grading or leveling! Parking space is by no means ADA compliant nor is the slip resistant ground (gravel)—Essentially, it’s an Handicapped Friendly site, but not and ADA site. Within the campsite, there are burn and safety hazards specific to disabled individuals—just be aware if you haven’t booked here before! -ADA RV site on the east side is limited (only one paved spot), and it is often occupied by non-disabled campers. -ADA trail is located ~6 miles from the ADA RV camp site, which makes it difficult to access for those with mobility limitations. Posted 7 yr ago: Great lake with trails and frisbee golf—we enjoy RV camping here, but “OK” bathrooms and showers are limited and depend on where you stay. It’s a beautiful spot but the east side needs work, and we’ve had repeated issues with a non-working plug at site #2 on the west side.

Beautiful place. My husband and I came with some friends. We enjoyed swimming on the lake, doing BBQ and watching the amazing sunset. I would recommend to come here!
