While not crazy about the 16% apr we got, (our credit fell to the "good" range during the car buying process, 2 vehicles, 2 different dealers, both toyotas) hopefully we can refinance after awhile, and get the apr lowered. My wife got a '25 Camry at Post Oak Toyota and so far she's very happy with it. Dealing with Cesar and with Andres in finance made the process much easier for us. Both of them went above and beyond to help us navigate this whole process as we are new to this experience. The 5 stars is for Cesar, Andres and Post Oak...not for the often confusing process of buying a new car and navigating the toyota finance app.

Recently purchased a new Tacoma from this Post Oak. Luis Chavez was our sales rep and he was truly delightful to work with. He addressed all our concerns, let us take our time looking at their inventory and when we found something we were interested in he brought it up front and we went for a test drive. When we got back to the dealership, we came to an agreement and agreed to purchase the vehicle. I give Luis 5 stars as the sales rep and will definitely go back to him. However, finance was a completely different story! We waited over an hour and a half to be seen and then when we were seen, our finance person was talking so fast that it was hard to keep up with what it was saying. He was pushing one thing after another all of which I said no to. Every time I said no he would lower the price of what he was trying to get me to add on to which I said no. Finally, we signed the paperwork and since they didn’t accept a check for the amount I was paying I had to go back with a cashiers check the next day. Not a problem at all as I understood. We finished signing all the paperwork and the last piece of paper I signed was for how I would receive the title, tag and odometer paperwork. I signed a piece of paper stating I wanted to pick it up directly from the dealership due to it being hit and miss as far as mail delivery from USPS where I live. I signed it and asked him again if I would be contacted when it was ready, and he said yes, and I looked over the paperwork again, to which it said, “pick up at dealership” to which I checked and initialed. So I went back the next day with my cashiers check and gave it to him for amount we agreed upon the night before, he looked at it and said are you gonna pay the other $1500 with credit card and I said no, this is the amount we agreed upon and I signed to, to which he said no you owe another $1500 and I said well I’m not paying another $1500. You can have your truck back to which he said, “you already bought it”. He went through his papers and it was discovered that I was correct and he was wrong that I had given him the cashiers check for the right amount and he had me confused with somebody else. He created unnecessary anxiety for
Me and my son! Fast-forward to today, I checked my mail and to my surprise the tag, tax, title paperwork was in my mailbox. Sales department is great, finance department needs some work! If I purchase a vehicle there again. I will make sure that I am not seen by this finance person and if I am, I will go elsewhere. Other people I know have had the same issue with him! The initial sales part was the part I thought would be the most stressful, and to Luis, thank you for Making that portion stress free!
