This place is beautiful and they have different rooms to suit your events. We held my daughter’s baby shower “fiesta” in the large room upstairs. From the moment we booked our date to the last minute when we left the service was impeccable. Ian was our maître d’ and he as so helpful and accommodating to all my last minute changes. I highly recommend the Staten for your events. Thank you for making my event exceptional.

We had our daughter’s bridal shower here and I can’t rave about it enough. Amazing food, awesome service and a beautiful venue. I recommend this venue for any event. Wish we would have done the wedding here!

The Staaten has the best food and is reasonably priced!! Their Salmon, Vodka sauce and zucchini sticks are to die for. I’ve been there on many occasions and never had a bad meal. I just hosted my daughter’s 30th birthday party and everything was delicious!! The staff were absolutely amazing!!

My daughter had her college graduation 🎓 Party.. The food, the service & the people Was extra extra good.. I went to Staten parties 25+ years ago.. Buy far the renovation & staff here in Summer 🏝️ of 2026 Was terrific

The Staaten has NEVER been a disappointment. Always The Top! Consistent. If you're a native Islander or from the remote area, you know how wonderful this place is, with amazing atmosphere, genuine North Shore warmth, staff who care about their restaurant and amazing food. Definitely a true gem on the North Shore!

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Staaten recently. The maitre'd, assistant and other staff were very helpful and professional throughout the entire event. As the Bride and Groom they made sure we had everything we needed such as food, drinks and helping me bustle my wedding dress. They made sure we had everything we wanted, needed and asked for. We truly appreciate the Staaten for their patience, understanding and guidance. Everything was beautiful. The food was excellent. (We've been here for other parties.) It was better than we imagined. Thank you.

Great friendly competent staff. Food always consistently fresh & delicious. Ive been here for repasses..Birthday parties..wedding etc... im always happy to be invited to the Staaten. We love Gary. He always takes such very good care of us and anybody we recommend to him. You just can't go wrong when you have a function there.

Performed there on a Saturday night. Freezing out but the staff was great, food was delicious and room turnover was extremely professional.
