Over 15k reviews and a 4.9 says a lot, so we had to check this one out! Totally worth it! All the way from service to the food our experience was 100% worth it. As per the food we had the Cheese Bites (so yum and came out super fresh!) Beer Bread, Stuffed Poblano Peppers, Side Mac & Cheese, and the notorious Pork Chop! Genuinely all a 10/10. Beer bread was a little different, but in a good way ya know? Poblano Peppers — SUPER underrated, but I’m telling you it’s delicious! Vegetarian or not, they were packed with flavor and incredibly filling. Veggies inside were all tender and mixed well with the green crema on top. This was probably my favorite out of everything we had tbh. Side Mac wasn’t anything too crazy, just pretty basic Mac! Still a delicious dish especially if you’re hankering for something cheesy. As per the Pork Chop, it’s HUGE! Even 2 people tackling it was a challenge so just prepare yourself and bring an empty belly. Flavor was all there, outside had a beautiful sear on it. Only thing to note is that it was a smidge on the drier side but overall very very good. Had a couple drinks as well, they were nice and strong. Recommend getting a couple. Our server was fantastic, he made sure to check in on a regular basis and our cups were always kept full. He was genuine and fun and even told us a couple ghost stories 😉. Overall an extremely pleasing experience. Old Town Spring is somewhere that is actually worth it to explore. Recommend checking it and Wunsche Bros out!

Loved my first time experience here. Our waitress Shannon was attentive and well versed with the story of the restaurant. Even the trainee was endearing and eager to help. The food is amazing, the management and chef team cared and it shown. We got Onion rings, you could taste the tangy from the buttermilk in the better, it was breaded fresh and seasoned boldly. The Ahi Tuna i got was Amazing, the sesame crust was very well done, crunchy, aromatic but none-burnt. The paired mash potato has a strong Wasabi kick! A well thought-of pairing, pleasant surprise. That freshly baked Skillet chocolate cookie is To-die-for, salted to balance the sweet, crunchy, buttery crisp edge and gooey center. Icecream on top providing the temperature contrast. I will be back for the meatloaf and double cut smoked pork chop, you bet

Our first time here. But I can tell this place is normally a solid 4‑star spot, although today’s visit was a 3‑star experience at best—mostly because the small, meaningful touches just didn’t happen. Birthday Misses: I told the staff three times that we were celebrating my kid’s birthday. We got one quick “oh, happy birthday” at the start, and then… nothing. No candle. No card. Not even a simple “happy birthday” when the cake we ordered arrived. I actually had to say as a prompt, “we have to order a slice of cake since it’s her birthday,” which felt like pulling teeth. Even a tiny acknowledgment when dropping off the dessert would’ve made her day. Service & Knowledge: I think this came down to our specific waiter—clearly new and still learning. I saw other servers who looked fantastic, but ours didn’t even know what sides came with the steak, and couldn’t answer basic questions (including the ghost stories my kid was excited about). Food Notes: • My kid’s steak was ordered medium rare, but came out very rare and blue inside—see pic. I would’ve loved it because I love Pittsburgh style steak. But my kid don’t like it when the meat is still kick’in. • The whiskey cake wasn’t sweet or chocolaty, which is unfortunate because that’s exactly what my kid loves. Her review: “Wait… that was chocolate?” • The half‑priced pork chop was excellent—right up there with Perry’s!! • My mashed potatoes had cold pockets, which was odd, though most of it was fine. Atmosphere: We were seated in the half of the building that previously burned down. It’s very obvious which side that is, both on the inside and outside. We asked about hauntings (my kid was hoping for a fun story), but our waiter didn’t seem to know much or want to embellish. Final Thoughts: I still recommend this restaurant—like I said I can tell it’s usually a strong 4‑star place. But today, between the missed birthday moment, the undercooked steak, and the uneven service, I feel it just didn’t reach its usual standard.

What an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our waiter, Nick, went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. He was friendly, attentive, and even shared some of the history of the restaurant, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food came out exactly as we ordered it, fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, and you could tell everything was prepared with care. The service was just as outstanding as the food—fast, professional, and genuinely welcoming. If you're looking for a place with incredible food, outstanding service, and a great atmosphere, I highly recommend Wünsche Bros. Cafe & Saloon. A big thank you to Nick for making our visit so enjoyable. We'll definitely be coming back!

This is our first time back at Wunsche Bros in over a year. Zoe was a wonderful server, going out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. Her recommendations were spot on! We tried the pork bites appetizer, the fried catfish and three veggie sides. The squash casserole is just the right amount of sweet and crunchy. Have them leave off the bread crumbs if you are gluten free. The "Im your Huckleberry" cocktail was so good that we ordered a second round.

Wunsche Bros. completely blew us away! The atmosphere in this historic building is awesome, but the food is the real star. The chicken fried steak with white gravy was perfectly crispy and delicious, especially paired with the mac and cheese. The burger topped with a fried egg was juicy, full of flavor, and those potato wedges were spot on. Excellent service and great drinks, too. We’ll definitely be back!

we live like 5 min away and have been talking about dropping by here- finally did today and was not disappointed. Dark and chill vibe, wasn't crowded, noise level was doable. The staff was nice from the time we entered and was seated. We got Miss Harmony as our server. She was very knowledgable about the drinks and was able to help me make a choice on a drink. She was attentive and checked on us. I got the wunsche burger and my bf got the catfish and elote. 10/10 good food and they serve good size portions!
