Lehigh Valley Zoo

We had an amazing day at Lehigh Valley Zoo! The animals were active, well cared for, and there was so much to see throughout the zoo. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of food options available, making it easy to grab a meal or snack during our visit. One thing we really appreciated was the abundance of shaded seating areas throughout the zoo, which made it comfortable to relax and take breaks, especially on a warm day. There were also plenty of fun activities for kids, including face painting and other interactive experiences that kept everyone entertained. The staff and zoo keepers were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals and creating a great experience for visitors. We also found the membership options to be a fantastic value, with great perks for families who plan to visit more than once. Overall, Lehigh Valley Zoo is a wonderful destination for all ages, and we can't wait to come back!

Visited our with three kids ages 6,3, and 1. Great time. We enjoyed driving through the nature preserve to get to the zoo. Walking paths were easy for even the youngest to walk. Most staff were friendly and helpful. The playground was huge. Which I don't recall seeing at most other zoos. We fed the giraffes and went to the Lorakete House. It was a hot afternoon so many of the animals were on siesta, but we did see most of them, laying about in the shade.

Excellent zoo tp visit. Its not too big so its perfect for little legs. There is enough to see that you can male 3-5 hours out of it, but not so much that you feel like you have to rush around. Pack a lunch, a stroller or wagon for the kids and you're set for the day

2 mustelid species; 3 mink and 2 american river otters! cute zoo that can be completely enjoyed in less than 2 hours, gave me plenty of time to check the otters and mink multiple times. sadly the mink were asleep during my entire visit it seemed- zoo is probably closed when they are most active in the mornings and evenings, but a keeper said they can be pretty active in the colder seasons. otter talk was at 12:15pm and the keeper was very nice and I learned about the 2 otters, Piper and Mulani. Lovely time <3

It’s always a blast going to the Lehigh valley zoo. The place is normally kept very nice. They did just finish the new playground that is also very nice. They do have a nice little gift shop. You can feed the giraffes and a few other animals there.

Nice zoo! Was about hour away. Wish the animals had bigger enclosures, thats just me though. Staff we did interact with were pleasant. Great place for children they have different things for them. Some animals were sleeping, but up when we passed on our way back out.

Gorgeous location and well maintained. We went to see the Buffalo and got a close-up look from the car. They have hiking trails, picnic tables and places to just sit and enjoy the views. So glad we went. People also riding their bikes. We plan to go back.

We did the otter encounter for a friend’s birthday and it was a great time. We enjoyed the rest of the zoo for the remainder of the morning and still had the afternoon to relax before Monday came. I highly recommend the experience!
