Schaumburg Convention Center

Great place for events and the food is actually good. Especially for convention center catering. All the staff I have encountered or interacted with have been very friendly. Appears to be plenty of parking with multiple lots to choose from, as well as valet service.

Lots of space even though it was very crowded. Air conditioning really blasts and keeps the place cool. Attended a kids rave yeaterday and a cheer comp today. Very high ceilings. Well lit. Clean

Very convenient hotel if you're attending a convention/event. They have several events place good for small groups to a huge gathering. The lobby was really nice and cozy with several sitting areas. The guest room where we stayed in was big and clean with mid-century modern vibes. We had a King-size bed with sheets that are really comfy, we each had 2 pillows and they are big and soft and so comfy as well! We slept the night away! The shower is nice and big but I find the water pressure a bit weak/low, but it is fine overall. They have built-in shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. The big downside is there is NO free wi-fi for hotel guests unless you are a member of their rewards program. Also, the microwave is in the common room where you can also find the ice machine. Are we going to check in here again? Yes, especially if we have to attend a convention/event there, just be ready to consume your 5G or whatever internet data you have.

Just visited the Schaumburg Convention Center and I’ve got to say — it nailed the “big, busy, and organized” vibe with style. Whether you’re there for a trade show, gala, or comic-con-style event, this place handles it all without breaking a sweat. Here’s what stood out: • The layout is smart. Navigating from exhibit hall to meeting rooms is straightforward. No getting lost in a maze of corridors. • The space is versatile. Big enough for large crowds, yet divisible into smaller sections when needed. • Staff were friendly and helpful — from registration desks to floor helpers, everyone seemed to know their role. • Amenities are solid: clean restrooms, decent food/refreshment options, and good signage. • Parking is ample, and getting in/out during peak times wasn’t a nightmare (which is saying a lot for suburban Chicago traffic). If there’s a downside, it’s minor: sometimes during large events, lines at the concession stands get long, so plan accordingly. Also, a few of the meeting rooms could use more natural light (but that’s typical for a convention center). All told, this is a convention center that delivers. If you’re attending or hosting something in Schaumburg, this is a dependable, well-run choice.

Nice place, there for Cheer Competition.. so crowded and rude people ( there is no need for rudeness anywhere especially at a place like this) we are all there for the same reason to watch our children, grandchildren.

Nice and clean convention center. Plenty of parking. Has a few food and drink options. The concession places on the main floor are more expensive than Starbucks on the 2nd floor. $6 for a 12oz can of pop. And food was not very good. Also has a bar and restaurant on 2nd floor. We didnt get to try out.

Checking in was subpar. The front desk manager didnt ask much about points or give me any useful information for the hotel. Next the room was ice cold and it took 40 minutes to fix and test. Finally, the room smelled like cigarettes. The positives: they handled both issues, the beds are so comfortable, and th3 checkout agent was very nice.

I hope my experience at this hotel is going to improve. I wanted a late night snack, so I went to the vending machine on the floor. A soda was $5.00. Maybe, somebody thinks I’m being petty, or maybe the hotel is being petty, grossly overcharging thousands of customers. To make matters worse, I went to the main level vending machine for chips. The soda machine down there charges $3.00 for the same soda, an 8 floor, $2.00 convenience fee, wow. But it gets worse, I buy chips for the displayed price of $3.00, but the machine display $5.00 after the vend. When I check my account, they’ve charged me $3.25 for the chips advertised at $3.00. I call the front desk to ask for, yes, $.25 refund. On second thought, no, I’m not being petty. This is being a little tired of all these companies cheating us, collectively, out of millions a day. Anyway, back to the front desk, Grady, the front desk night lead, tells me the machines are third party and not their responsibility. When I remind him that I’m Marriott’s customer and I don’t know anything about their vendors. He gets belligerent. I’ll call the manager in the morning, I’ll keep you posted. The morning front desk credited my $.25.
