Bison's Bluff Nature Playground

We loved this park! My son has Level 2 Autism and is usually more interested in the landscaping, fields, rocks, and trees than playground equipment… so this place was perfect for him! He loved stomping around in the stream and examining the rocks and waterfalls. The park is well contained by thoughtful landscaping and fences so we weren’t worried about our son running away into a parking lot or busy street. Everything was clean and well maintained, too!

Beautiful little trail! Bison’s Bluff in Schaumburg is perfect for a quick, relaxing walk. The path is peaceful, well-kept, and great for clearing your mind. Took about an hour to explore everything at a comfortable pace.

What an amazing outdoor experience for children! I was moments late for the monarch butterfly release, but this playground is certainly worth the drive back to experience. My little ones ran, laughed, splashed, squealed (snake sighting), climbed, and leaped from the time we arrived. They played with other children, examined rocks, crossed bridges, went down slides, and navigated the playground with ease. I love the signs around the playground with quotes and caregiver tips. The playground is fun and educational, and children learn through play, so pack the snacks, sunscreen, and water, and make it an adventure to remember.

This place was wonderful! My son really enjoyed the park and then we went to the nature museum inside and he liked that area as well.. It is beautiful there and such a neat little gem! We love being outdoors any chance we can get!

plenty of shade.but no snack bar just limited vending machines on a hot day.otherwise great place

Pretty playground for kids but charging for an outdoor playground is ridiculous smh on top of that, we get there and we don't get told that we can only be in the playground for an hour smh lol where do they do that at?!... ooon top of that!, we're only there for about 40 min before staff walks in telling everyone to get out for cleaning. Ok fine, as we're walking past the admission booth i hear staff telling someone that we have to pay again to go back on AFTER them cleaning!! Like whaaat!? Smh never again. There's better parks and better splash parks FREE. Ooh one more thing, we pay a fee right, at least have a staff member inside making sure everything is going smooth but nobody, got parents letting their boys pull down their pants in pee in the stream the kids are playing in smh.

Love this place. Especially the farm on the other side. It is a very nice walk. Lots of life many ways to walk even when you've been there a couple times you can always find a new path. The restroom was very clean. Especially for a park bathroom. Picnic area has a couple tables. We didn't use those but they could be a nice place to eat. The farm part usually has pigs cows and chickens. But they have not been out recently which is stinky.
