Big Dean's Ocean Front Cafe

Big Dean’s Ocean was incredible! 🌊🍔 From the moment we arrived, the environment felt relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a good meal and great company 😎✨. The burger was really good, and its flavor was amazing—juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right 🤤🔥. You can tell they care about the quality of their food. The service was also very good; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit 😊👏. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back again to enjoy another delicious burger by the ocean! 🌅🍟

Stopped here for a quick recharge. We got one pina colada, deans burgers and a cheese quesadilla. I appreciated the cheap eats and it was an excellent location to duck in and grab a drink as you’re walking along The beach. They even had a happy hour specials. they had restrooms and water; the vibes were on point for a beachy cali vibe

This place food sucks. We ordered a philychese steak sandwich and their sandwiches is just half and charge $13. They gave us fries. No Ketup, nothing. Service is so bad. No wonder resturants like these close down in Santa Monica. I will never come back to this place.

Big Deans is fun and the service is great! I can't wait to come back. It was busy up front but they let me and my family sit in the back and we had the whole section to ourselves. I had everything to eat and I liked it a lot. Bring your friends and family and have a blast...we did!!

Four of us went to Big Dean's for lunch. Ee decided to go here because they had better ratings than other places on or near the pier. I wouldn't call them Ocean Front. I'd say "beachfront" was more appropriate. You can see the pier and there's good people watching. If you want to stare at the waves, this isn't the place to do that. It wasn't very crowded when we went, and we got a table on the patio pretty quickly. Our server was friendly but service was slow. We got a mix of seafood (ahi tacos and the fish and chips) and burgers and beers. Everything was pretty good, but not overly memorable. In the end, when in Santa Monica, I'm looking for a more ocean-view restaurant, so I wouldn't go back to this place, but if youre happy with a pier view, I can recommend it.

We arrived around noon and ordered several dishes: a beach salad that was beautifully presented,tacos, fish and fries and chips with salsa along with some drinks. The food was nice, the atmosphere was totally fine, and the prices were reasonable.

We are tourists visiting Santa Monica. This place is perfect for us needing a quick light lunch. They’ve got burgers, hot dogs, tacos. Exactly what we needed. Good price, affordable. Will definitely recommend.
