The Gentle Barn

Great experience! Seeing all the nurtured and loved animals healing and giving back by letting us pet them. Loved hearing every animal’s stories. Had Kim as our tour guide, she was amazing!

This is such a cute and fun farm experience. Whether you’re looking for some solo time with the animals, planning a unique date, or sharing something special with friends or family, this place offers such a gentle, welcoming environment. You get to learn each animal’s story and interact with them, which makes it even more meaningful. I highly recommend it. Public tours available for booking on Sundays.

My family really enjoyed learning about the farm and exploring the grounds. A great way to spend an afternoon, hanging with all the rescued animals and hearing their stories from the staff and volunteers. Go on a Sunday and hug a cow!

I thought it was too good to be true🥹 Easy free parking, smooth entry, great speech! You can tell they really care about the animals. And I literally got to HUG a cow. They are so sweet and have their tarps for when it’s too hot. All the animals and staff are so gentle. The staff was so so kind and talkative. I’m already looking forward to our next visit! 🐄

Very well set up. Lots of parking and great customer service. They had a trolley pick us up from parking and drop us off at front door.

Wonderful staff, wonderful rescue animals, wonderful shop to buy goodies. The animals are very well cared for and the volunteers are all very nice and knowledgeable. My toddler loved it and so did I. I got myself a GB hoodie because I love this place so much. I’ll definitely be coming back. I love that they promote a V diet as well. Great place to show my son that all animals are sentient, loving beings. #VeganForever

What a beautiful place to come and practice loving all forms of life. We came here for my partner’s birthday and had a blissful time hugging cows and hanging with llamas in the sunshine. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for educating us on how these animals were rescued. Seeing these animals up close has made me deeply thoughtful about the ethics factory farming, genetically modified animals, and our relationship to the natural world in general. What a transformative experience. Very grateful 💛
