We had a group dinner and the whole experience was wonderful from the food drinks just the whole vibe and being able to step outside and see a really nice view at night. I do wish that I paid closer retention for when the sun went down, however, it was still really nice. The selection of food was amazing and my food was really made well. I would definitely go back there and try some other meat as I had the salmon. I had a few cocktails and they were made well. The various foods I tried had a lot of flavor, the wait stuff was nice, dessert was gone quickly as we shared amongst coworkers! I will definitely be coming back here again, it sounds like they do a lot of events too and run it successful restaurant as it was pretty lively on Wednesday evening.

Odyssey Restaurant & Events — Granada Hills Perched on a hilltop with sweeping city views, Odyssey is one of those rare spots that manages to feel both elegant and approachable. I stopped by for a birthday party, and from the moment you arrive, there's something special about the place. The Space Indoor and outdoor seating, a stunning bar, and an oyster bar that doesn't disappoint. The real showstopper? That koi pond greeting you as you walk in, and the grand fountain out front. Inside, the lighting and decor strike the perfect balance — romantic without trying too hard. Plenty of parking and fully handicap accessible. The Food The menu runs the gamut: state (I'm guessing you meant steak?), Chilean sea bass, lobster, and genuinely excellent vegetarian options. Whatever you order, expect it to be exceptional. The Vibe The music is chef's kiss — present enough to set the mood, quiet enough so you can actually have a conversation. It's equally suited for a special event or a low-key date night. The Extras Service is attentive without being overbearing. Desserts are a worthy finale. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Expect to spend around $100 per person. ─── Worth noting: the venue and pricing put it in the upscale-casual category — great for occasions but also nice for a justified splurge. If you want me to adjust the tone (more casual, more formal, etc.) or add anything, just let me know.

I visited The Odyssey for Valentine’s Day, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The restaurant has such a unique atmosphere, and being perched up in the hills makes it feel like a true "destination" spot. The Highlights The Food: We had the holiday three-course set menu, and every dish was truly delicious. Even with the kitchen being busy, the quality of the meal was top-tier. The Vibe: The environment is elegant and romantic. A huge plus was the live music starting right after our meal—it was the perfect way to transition from dinner to a relaxing evening. The View: Even if you aren't right by the window, the sweeping views of the city lights are hard to beat. Room for Improvement The only downsides were the logistics. I reserved my table a month in advance, so I was disappointed to be given a poor seating selection. When you plan that far ahead, you hope for one of those prime spots! Additionally, the service for the food was a bit slower than expected, though the quality of the meal made the wait much more tolerable. Final Verdict If you’re looking for a spot with great energy and high-quality food, The Odyssey is a win. Just keep in mind that on busy holidays, you might need a little extra patience with the timing!

Food was generally ok. Popcorn in popcorn chicken appetizer was stale..won tons in ahi poke was stale. All other food was good. Lemonade was good. Waitress was good but they need more wait staff to help with tables and busing tables. Front hostess was rude on Sat, 5/2 for brunch. Nice remodel of restaurant.

Went to Odyssey for the first time yesterday with a party of 9 and while the food was good, what really stood out was the service. I want to give a SHOUTOUT to HOUSTON who was professional, helpful, quick to assist, but also patient (with a table of 8 to include two children), kind, AND went out of his way with our requests and service. Service can really make or break an experience and my entire family felt that Houston was fantastic!!!! Thank you!

My family and I had an amazing time. We had tried Odyssey's Happy Hour once before (pre-renovation), but this week we tried their more formal dining, partaking in the DineLA lunch. Having lived in Burbank for a long time, we had been to Castaway dozens of times, so we've always been fans of Specialty Restaurants Corporation, and our recent experience was no exception. Before I get into the review, it is very important for DineLA fans to know that Odyssey's Lunch DineLA ends at 4:00pm, not 4:30pm like it says on the website/menu. First of all, the brand-new renovation is modern (in a timeless way) and gorgeous, and of course the views are as breathtaking as ever. Shout-out to the assistant manager Rosie for seating us and for honoring the DineLA menu prices on Odyssey's website (and adjusting the check accordingly). My family and I all ordered the shrimp and the salmon, and both dishes were picturesque, delicious, and reasonable portions. I liked that the salmon dish was a little bit different on the DineLA menu compared to the standard menu: the tomatoes and olives gave the dish some Mediterranean flair. Off of the regular menu, we also tried the four-cheese Mac and cheese, which was creamy excellence - you can't go wrong with gruyere! The server who served us was Jesus, and he did a phenomenal job. Not only was he pleasant but he is also a seasoned professional, having worked in Castaway decades ago (before we even went there!). I'm so glad that the San Fernando Valley has a restaurant as scenic and high-quality as Odyssey 👍🏻

You know this place has been a frequent spot for my wife and I. We love this place so much, its a major date night for us. However this night I dont know, the waiter was off major! He tried to do the whole "ill remember what you said without writing your order down" thing and it was a bad decision on his part. We ordered the steak progressive which is our JAM!! We love the 4 meat choices we get that every time. With the double mash and broccoli-rob, and charred brussels sprouts. He came with 1 steak that looked like a Ribeye which he kinda got on another server about not putting it down in front of the table they had a discussion in front of us about it, quickly he apologized for the mix us as my wife and I both said, " you should have wrote our order down!" We sat there for another 20 minutes for the right food to come out. While we waited our double mashed sat under the heat lap so when it cam out it was still fire but didnt hit loke it would fresh. Then he brought up regular broccoli which my wife was not impressed with because we love your broccoli -rob. It was a little more el dente than we would libe but I got through it for the most part.the new renovation made the place look wide open and bright and airy. It was pretty. But we missed the romantic low light single light at the table feel. It was way more romantic so we missed that feel but it was still pretty and we always ask for a window seat, its the best view in the restaurant. Over all it was an ok experience this time. Still coming back!!!

I visited the Odyssey Restaurant & Events Center for the first time in over 4 years, and what a great job they have done with the re-model! This property has achieved a true elevation in its appearance, but what truly sets the Odyssey apart is the great staff and food & beverage experience. Chris Davis is a great server, and took care of everything I needed. Executive General Manager Janae & Manager Rosie did a wonderful job checking on my dining experience. The Truffle Popcorn 🍿 Chicken & Chilean Seabass were delicious, and I enjoyed the tasty cocktails as well. I recommend visiting this restaurant with your loved ones for any special occasion!
