Great place for children and adults! Had a blast with my family. Great way to introduce science to children and young adults. They have a marine section where children can touch marine life. A planetarium section and other cool things. Recommend coming early, we did the entire thing in about 4-5 hours. Bring hand sanitizer as there are many high contact areas. They have a little cafe for a quick lunch and a gift shop to end your day. Parking is $10.00.

Incredible! So many things to do. My little ones loved it!! We arrived upon opening and left till closing hours and didn't finish all the activities. Definitely stopping by again. No wait for entry because we bought our tickets with advance on the website.
Great interactive place with lots of fun activities to do especially for the children. They have areas from Dinosaurs to Space, rockets, car racing and my favorite was the Eco Shopper Supermarket where the kids can learn to shop and do self checkout. Another great spot was the fun way they did an interactive to learn about waste management. Lots of kids were having fun there. I don’t have small kids but it was a fun place to walk around and see all the kids learning and have fun at the same time
It was our first time utilizing the membership provided by my kids' home charter school (Mission Vista Academy 💯❤️) and we had a BLAST. My partner and I enjoyed leisurely strolling along behind the kids while they explored, the layout was fantastic with lots of different activities, and the food/beverages available were inclusive to dietary restrictions very considerately. The kids especially enjoyed the dinosaur activities, moon rover race track, and laser exhibit. We can't wait to go back!
Discovery Cube is a very nice, well-designed museum focused on hands-on learning and discovery for kids of all ages. It’s engaging, interactive, and honestly enjoyable even for adults, not just children. The exhibits are playful but educational, and everything is set up to spark curiosity rather than just entertain. We especially loved the space-related exhibition on the solar system — really well done, visually appealing, and easy to understand for both kids and grown-ups. A great place to spend a few hours as a family, combining fun and learning in a smart way. Highly recommended.
We had a great time running around! Definitely recommend for ages 3-7. We had a good 2 hours of activities and fun in all the different sections of the cube! My favorite was the dinosaur section. You can go on missions and scavenger hunts!
We visited Discovery Cube in early December, and as a homeschooling family, this was one of the most engaging and well-rounded learning experiences we’ve had during our travels. If you’re looking for a place where kids can learn through hands-on exploration while still having a lot of fun, this is an excellent choice. Especially for younger kids. The science center is packed with interactive exhibits covering everything from space and physics to weather, the human body, and marine life. With so many hands-on stations throughout, it feels more like active exploration than a traditional museum, which kept everyone fully engaged. One of the biggest highlights for us was the ocean touch tank, where the kids were able to gently touch stingrays and even small sharks. Getting to experience that together as a family made it especially memorable. There is a huge variety of hands-on activities across the building. Some of our favourites included: - lifting your own body weight using a pulley system - creating water tornadoes - experimenting with weather systems - standing in a wind tunnel to feel hurricane-force winds The Rocket Lab was another standout and a great way for kids to explore space concepts in a fun, interactive way. We also appreciated how the exhibits are spread across different topics, including ocean life and tide pools, physics, space, and even a hockey simulation, which kept things interesting from start to finish. Even during a full visit, nothing felt overly crowded or overwhelming. The layout is easy to follow, and there is a natural flow between exhibits, making it simple to explore at your own pace. Parking was easy, and getting tickets at the door was quick and straightforward, which made for a smooth start to the day. There’s also a small café for a break and a gift shop at the end with plenty of educational and fun items for kids. Overall, Discovery Cube strikes a great balance between education and hands-on fun. It’s the kind of place where kids can stay curious, active, and engaged the entire time. It is especially well suited for families with younger kids (roughly ages 5–10), where they can fully participate in most of the exhibits. After visiting many attractions during our travels, this stood out as one of the most interactive and thoughtfully designed learning environments we’ve experienced. If you’re visiting with kids and want something educational, engaging, and easy to navigate without the intensity of larger attractions, this is absolutely worth a stop. If you have any questions about visiting with kids, feel free to ask.
Amazing museum. Highly recommend. My 6 year old loved it. Great educational experience for the whole family. There were times when we were a bit uncomfortable and overwhelmed with the amount of kids there on field trips. But overall great experience.
