San Antonio River Lock & Dam

Lovely SA river cruise...take the shuttle so you can get off and on, about an hour in between p/u and drop offs... lots of places to stop, shop and eat. Pearl District is the best 👌

Unique attraction on the riverwalk and was good to stroll around in the night. Place is well lit and good to see the San Antonio river flowing in across the dam. You can also see the river cruise coming up close to the dam. Will recommend this experience while visiting San Antonio if you got some time. #HappyVisiting

This place is a lot of fun and definitely worth checking out. So hard to do and it's really fun to take the Riverboat shuttle which is different from the river boat cruise. For $17 per person they will pick you up and drop you off all the way up at the Pearl and bring you all the way down more popular portion of the Riverwalk. It's a great way to draw and you can get on and off as many times as you want for 24 hours

It was fun. We took the shuttle, without narration. It was a longer ride. We went to the Lock and Dam. You can get on and off. Our pilot, Jeff, was a sweetie. Was really interesting.

My wife and I were first time visitors. We took the river shuttle and met Leonard. Great day for the River.

Stumbled upon Back Unturned Brewing Co. while walking around the Riverwalk Locks & Dam area. This was a gem. Food, atmosphere, workers, and BEER were fantastic.

Well number 1, it's no Panama Canel, lol. But I found it to be quite interesting. The Riverwalk Tourist Barges pull into the lock, the door closes then the barge goes up or down depending on the direction it is traveling. There is an excellent vantage point to watch the whole operation and the tourists usually wave. If you are at all interested in how things work, then check this out.
