They have a great variety of breads and pastries, plus brunch options that combine two of my favorite things into one. We arrived around 10am on a Sunday morning – there was already a long line outside. The line moves pretty fast tho, we waited about 30 minutes to get our food and grab a seat. Concha (vanilla): This was my first time trying a concha – I've heard it's like a morning bread for Mexicans. The texture is very fluffy, with a vanilla crust on the outside. We got the vanilla flavor was perfect for me cuz it’s not too sweet. Croissants: Very, very crispy. If you order from this bakery, I highly recommend getting at least one croissant. We tried two: a savory ham & cheese and a sweet almond. Between the two, I definitely prefer the ham & cheese – they heated it up for me, so it was extra crispy and flaky. The almond one was too sweet and served cold. Lobster roll: The highlight of our brunch. The lobster is served in a round crispy croissant. They're very generous with the lobster and it’s flavorful and juicy. Tres leches matcha drink: A little too sweet for me, and the matcha was kind of mediocre.

The pastries and coffee here were amazing! There is an assortment for everyone. Everything we ordered was delightful! But I want to give special props to the staff for fairness. The line was moving fast, but people kept coming even faster. They worked hard to keep the line moving while treating each customer with care. The icing on the cake was that older man tried to cut the entire line and the three staff members stood in solidarity that he can’t cut.

Worth the hype and and the stand in line. Freshly baked great taste and great service. We are walked past them in the evening and saw the bakers hard at work… breakfast toast am proved their hard work of love! The line was long but it moved quickly. Takeout and eat in is the same line so don’t be worried you get your food really quick. They have large variety of hot drinks and cold stuff too. A lot of pastries you can try. We loved every thing we ate

Absolutely delicious! The bread has an authentic Mexican flavor and style, and all the food was amazing. I loved the croissant and the burger, and the coffee was excellent as well. The pan de muerto was especially delicious. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Totally recommended!

I wish the service was as sweet as the products they sell. Non of my servers understood Spanish. Yet wore shirts that say Cultura but didn’t speak the language, they knew very little about the products they sold, and had a poor attitude at the coffee bar when asking simple questions. I felt as if I needed to apologize for interrupting these employees while they carried a giggle fest convo behind the counter. If the employees took half as much interest in having a respectable interaction with the costumer rather than each other , and not rushing the line like a cattle herd, I would have given a higher rating. This bakery felt gentrified and over rated. $30 got me 3 sweet breads and two drinks. Everything was good but the blueberry bear claw lacked flavor. The churro cold foam latte was delicious 4 out of 5 and the cafe con Miel with almond milk was average 3 out of 5. I can’t say I would return. I am critical of this business as it is a reflection of Latino culture. And this is not the culture of respect and pride I want from a Latino based business.

I heard the line on memorial day ran 50 deep, outside the door, wrapped around the front of the building, and the best thing one could do was to have patience. Luckily for me, I went the day after memorial day so the lines weren’t that bad and the red carpet laid out in front of the restaurant was all clear. I grabbed a menu before it was my turn to order. It’s a lot to choose from and without pictures it’s difficult to tell what most of the items are. Especially for a first timer. So, I ordered what the gentleman in front of me had which was a plain croissant with butter. It looked better than it tasted. I chose not to use the butter because the croissant was cold so butter wouldn’t take to it well. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and avocado. The eggs were delicious, cooked well and flavored nicely. But my avocados were oxidizing so the presentation wasn’t appealing. My husband’s breakfast scramble was filled with eggs. cheese, and turkey, but wasn’t filled with flavor of any kind. It’s a lively atmosphere. Great for large groups. There’s seating outside so if you’re feeling like sitting amongst pedestrians walking by, it’s perfect. The service was slow. Really slow. I overheard they were backed up so by the time my macchiato was delivered I was almost done eating.

On this, our first visit, we ordered Americano coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, and Mexican Hot Chocolate. All the drinks were excellent. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy but we had no difficulty finding a table. The food being delivered to other tables looked delicious. We are thinking of returning for lunch.

I haven’t tried any of the brunch options, but I can say with confidence that La Panadería’s pastries are delicious. I highly recommend the Conchas and Tequila Tres Leches Croissant. The light, fluffy sweetness of the Concha and the fruity, flaky flavor of the Tres Leches are well worth waiting in line for. My favorite bakery so far.
