This is a historical treasure, that young children will always remember. Some of these reviews are from cheap tourists expecting Disneyland instead of the Texas vibe, and culture it offers. Most toddlers can't ride anything at all because of height requirements, but can freely enjoy all the rides for only $14 a wristband ALL DAY LONG. They never complain about bringing your own small snacks, and water bottles which is unheard of in most theme parks. The workers are out in the heat, and still give excellent service. There is a starbucks a block away for never ending complainers, and moms that need coffee. It's a part of San antonio that has been there since 1918, and I hope is still there when my children have children, just like it was for me, and my parents as well. I cannot stress enough how awesome it is, and crazy affordable! The rides still have original engineering which is far more advanced than most modern rides which are created without a single nod to safety, and wind up killing or injuring kids in the process to have that trendy look in social media posts. We never have an issue waiting for rides, and they will run the entire machine just for one kid, if they are in line. We go on Fridays, when most places are packed, and still have no issues. They don't have a ton of food options, nor do they need them? There are a million restaurants around, or just be better parents, and always keep food handy for your kids, like you would anywhere else in the world? These bad reviews are the reasons why historical places get shut down, so think twice before taking a piece of Texas history from those who love it dearly. You don't have to pay for parking at the zoo next door, if you drive up a block or two down on the right, there are long rows of steet parking always available. They have clean restrooms, and your little ones will love it. This is not a place for older kids to enjoy. It's a blessing for the tiny ones to have their own experience they will never forget. After you get done, take a stroll over to the river, and look the ducks or cool off your feet in the shallow end. The trees alone are worth the time. God bless this place. I hope it stays going forever for even more generations of Texans and transplants from other states to come.

To the right of the zoo's entrance. There are five rides to choose from. It being our first time here, we settled with getting the unlimited ride option. My daughter enjoyed it, so that's what matters most. No lines. Convenience of multiple food options (nearby gift shop with snacks, Starbucks, and hotdog stand that is on site). There is a spacious picnic area to the right of the gift shop. It's a slight bummer that the mini amusement park is in need of a major upgrade (long overdue).

My four kids absolutely love this place and enjoy every moment here. From the rides to the overall atmosphere, there’s always something that keeps them smiling and excited. It’s such a joy watching them laugh, play, and make memories together. As a parent, I really appreciate how family-friendly and relaxed the experience is. this is one of those places we’re always happy to come back to.

Very disappointed in the Kiddie Park standard for special needs accomadations. Today we tried to celebrate a birthday for my 2yr old quadraplegic special needs babygirl, she is terminal and every moment celebrated and lived is unique for her, something we try very hard to make possible in any way. So we show up and I'm scalded by the clerk about our 3 girls heights (not the baby) ..which 2 were less than half inch over the height..literally right over the black mark and still way under the green shades area..which was probably shoe related..we were denied access in for the rides..i even explained we would need our girls to hold the baby in place with them.. like any other 2 siblings riding together..denied entry and rides for the half inch height limit!? Mind you as we left our train ride we opted for..we see tons on larger/taller kids on the rides..you gotta do better..possibly the only place for my baby to enjoy a very child friendly ride..terminally ill or not its not ok to differentiate which kids any clerk allows..it was a one time visit on a good day for her..not like my child is unreasonably tall..all 3 girls denied for literally a half inch..likely less to be honest! Was our only option to celebrate for a moment in time that we have no idea she will get to enjoy more of! No decency and I'll be sure I find the right people to contact in regards to this..One hour was all we wanted smh..photos are for reference and will be erased soon..referencing an adult in Sept was able to go on a ride but not these lil 1st graders!?

So much fun!! Kept my kids entertained for a very long time and everything was really neat. Food and drinks were way overpriced, but we got the unlimited rides and lunch ticket for the kids which was totally worth it. Was not crowded, no wait lines for rides.

My kids had a blast today. This old place still keeps lots of its magic for the little ones. It is interesting to ride 97 year old attractions. At first sight the park is small, however, we spent three hours there and my kids did not want to leave. They were able to ride many times without having to stand in line. We enjoyed the shade around the attractions. Also, all the staff were super friendly. We will visit it again!

Honestly, it's a nice little place for kids. I took my one-year-old daughter there at around 1pm, yesterday and I would advise you to go early whether or not because it's really hot outside and the rides go fast ish also not all was rides were open… I paid for unlimited rides, but when she's a little older, I know she can get on more, so remember to bring your own drinks. Water costs about $4 and there is some change. other than that workers were friendly and no long lines nor was there a line to buy wrist bands
