Here are some of the things you will see on the narration of the supposed events that led to the Salem Witch Trials. The museum part of this tour is more like a small collection of literature and plexiglass covered facts (eh?). Entertaining for those that are new here and tourists, but seems to be a slight amount missing details. It was a fun little side tour, but I will have to do more research on some of the information provided. The people were friendly and seemed relatively energetic about what they were doing, which helped the presentation. Gift shop was overpriced and after paying for the tour, the souvenirs should be a little less expensive. Worth it once to see what it is all about, but unless they have some updates planned, I would not do the tour again.

A must see when visiting Salem. Just a few photos from the two part tour. First part is a 360 telling in a seated theatre. Not going to ruin the experience with photos other than the red circle of names. The second part is a walk thru and very informative. The gift store has something for the die hard enthusiasts and those who are curious. Tuesday thru Thursday was recommended for visiting Salem in general as less busy those days. Saying yes to buy tickets in advance if you like to plan out the visit to Salem. We did not and only needed to wait 5 mins for next tour but other places we could visit /walk around if we needed to catch a later tour.

We were so excited to be close to Salem while traveling for work into Boston. We made a day to go to Salem and check out the infamous Salem Witch Museum. We had purchased tickets online the night prior to attend the museum, we checked in and received a colored sticker for our tour time. We had some time to check out the gift shop prior to our tour start time. We headed over to the far side of the museum to wait for our tour to begin. With how large the building is we thought there would be more to offer within the museum - though the tour was extremely informative and I learned quite a bit I didn't know, it was only 2 rooms of exhibits during the tour. You start the tour by entering a large, dark room with round stools in the middle, take their advice and get a seat in the center of the room or you cant see all of the displays. When the tour starts, mini displays light up and the audio recordings tell the story - and it goes around the room from the left corner in a counter clockwise as the story progresses. Once this is completed, you are escorted through the gift shop into the 2nd exhibit room where the tour guide goes over how Witches transitioned from to the dramatized versions in movies with green skin to the modern day wiccans. You are given some time after they speak to look through all the displays in this area before you end back in the gift shop. Overall I loved the history, but was surprised there wasn't more in the museum.

A tourist attraction that describes the hysteria that had occurred in Salem. It is shown through voice and statues with a progression from the events to the trials to the victims of the mass hysteria. This is a tourist attraction with a gift shop and it is very moody. When you sit down in it it is best described as watching a visualization of a Hammer horror film. Enjoy

I love history and have been wanting to visit Salem all my life. Great presentation by all the staff, friendly and very relaxed. Perfect overcast and rainy day. Just like the witches would love.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS. THIS COST ME 89$ FOR A FAMILY OF FIVE, AND IT WAS NOT EVEN WORTH $20 FOR THE FAMILY. THE SIZE OF THE OUTSIDE MAKES IT SEEM LIKE IT WILL BE THE WHOLE BUILDING AND IT IS LIKE SO SMALL. HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE THE 70S(THE DOLLS). AND THEY DID EVEN HAVE THE FACTS RIGHT. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. THIS WAS HORRIBLE! BEYOND HORRIBLE! I will share the only "good" photos so you can see what it is all about....seriously that was it. Nothing special or cool at all. There was a beam from the jail, but even that was anti climatic. The gift shop was the best part. Save your money and do literally anything else. Get your family a shirt instead from somewhere else or the gift shop. This place should be free.

This tour was pretty cool and very well organized. I also felt the price point unlike a lot of tourist attractions, was very fair. Children under six are free and adults are around $19. We arrived at the time listed and we were told there's actually a 10 minute window in between for them to get set up, which was not a problem. It gets a little confusing about which door to go in and out of, but thankfully, there was a lot of staff on hand, all of whom were very helpful. The first part is a pre-recorded assimilation of characters from The Crucible, and their experiences. It was interesting to find out how much of the play Arthur Miller fabricated from their real stories. For the second part, the group splits in half, one group goes to the gift shop and the other goes on the last leg of the tour, and then they switch. I thought that was good because it eliminated having a crowd, or long lines at the gift shop. I also felt the gift shop was again, reasonably priced. This would be a great attraction for school groups.

We stopped off in Salem on Tues 10/02/26 and headed off to the Salem Witch Museum for a walk-in. We were greeted by the lovely, friendly staff and a walk-in was accepted, we paid and within 10 minutes we were asked to head into a darkened auditorium, literally only by a glowing red circle with the names of the victims of the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. The presentation began, narrated through loudspeakers, whilst pertinent parts of the story were accompanied by scenes posed by mannequins that were lit at the appropriate time. We found the story, and the way it was told, informative and immersive. After the first presentation we were led to another room, where a young lady told of the Witch Trials, the history and Hollywood trope about witches and witchcraft, and relevant historic information, lasting approximately another 10 minutes. We were then given time to read the exhibits' details at our leisure, with a friendly reminder to not rush. Exiting through the gift shop afterwards where there was an array of items to purchase. All in all, we were very pleased with our visit to the Salem Witch Museum.
