BEST BIRTHDAY EVER...says my 8 yr old!
We just had my son's 8th birthday here with 10 friends ranging from 4-8 and adults too. Everyone had a great time and even though the laser tag was more "advanced" seeming when being told the rules then traditional indoor laser tag...all of the party had a blast!! The pizza was good too! We will definitely be back for family and would book a party again too!
I do suggest giving the game cards at the beginning of the party for any down time.
This was for a boy's 13th Birthday Party. Shannon was our Zig-E's host and was an absolute pleasure to work with. The boys rated the Laser Tag as the best in the area and really enjoyed racing the Go-Karts. Highly recommend visiting this entertainment center!!
They really need to update and clean up the course.
There was a wheel barrow and dirt all over one of the stations. Plus it was crumbling apart.
Lof of the other holes also just need to be sprayed down or patched up.
This is the only mini good in the area, at least update it.
Great party experience! We rented the pavilion with the ultimate package for my 9 year old. They stored ice cream and cake for us. The party host was considerate, organized, and attentive. They were always checking up on changes before the party too. It seemed like the parents were having fun, and were able to drive the go-karts with the kids. In the arcade, the kids actually got some cool ticket wheels in the claw machine that they were excited about. Laser tag was also very cool, and very organized. Highly recommend!
Loved this place! We hosted our boys’ birthday party here and had an amazing experience. We went with their ultimate party package, and it was worth every penny. Our party host was fantastic, keeping the kids excited and engaged for all the activities! All of our guests had a great time, including the adults. We enjoyed multiple rounds of go-karts, laser tag, and countless arcade games. They also offer mini golf and batting cages for even more fun.
When we booked our reservation, the staff went over every detail, answered all of our questions, and even gave us a tour of the facility, including the spacious party room (perfect for 10 kids and a few adults). They also reviewed all of our package options so we could choose what worked best. We would definitely host another birthday party here!
We had my son’s birthday at Zig E’s and the kids had so much fun - pizza, arcade, laser tag - a great combo! Booking was simple online and I loved how they communicated with me over text and by phone to answer any questions I had. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Extremely disappointed with our experience at Ziggie’s Funland.
What’s especially frustrating is that this isn’t our first visit. We’ve hosted birthday parties here in the past, and Ziggie’s used to be one of our kids’ favorite weeknight places to visit. Because of those positive experiences, we never expected such poor communication and customer service.
I purchased three 2-hour unlimited wristbands for the kids. At no point when I bought them was I informed that laser tag only starts at specific scheduled times rather than continuously. Had I known that, we would have planned our time completely differently.
The kids wanted to play laser tag but needed four players. They eventually found other kids who wanted to play, but by then they were told the next game wouldn’t be until 3:00 PM, which was right when their wristbands expired. When I pointed out how ridiculous that was and that nobody had explained how the laser tag schedule worked, staff agreed to let them play at 3:00 PM.
Because we were told a game takes about 30 minutes, the kids stopped doing other activities and waited. We sat there with the other children from around 2:40 PM waiting for the promised 3:00 PM game.
At 3:05 PM, nothing had happened, so we went to ask. Suddenly we were told the game wasn’t starting until 3:30 PM. My sister explained that we had specifically been told 3:00 PM and had already been sitting there waiting for over 20 minutes. The staff member who had already been dismissive earlier responded with an attitude and simply said, “You’ll get to play.”
The issue wasn’t that there was a wait. The issue was that nobody explained how laser tag scheduling worked when we purchased the wristbands, and then we were given conflicting information multiple times. The kids spent a significant portion of their paid time waiting because of poor communication, only to be met with indifference when we tried to get clarification.
It’s disappointing to see a place we’ve supported for years and trusted enough to host birthday parties handle a simple customer service issue so poorly. What used to be a favorite spot for our family is now somewhere we have no interest in returning to.
We won’t be back.
