Scheeringa Farms & Produce

This place was so great! The staff were so nice and helpful. The produce were some of the freshest and tastiest food I’ve ever had. And lasted longer once made in the fridge than the grocery stores. The goats and animals seemed above cared for. We came last Friday and can’t wait to go back!

Love Scheeringa, great family owned place to get all our flowers, vegetables, fruits and many more! All the employees are so friendly and helpful and most of all very “knowledgeable” on how to plant your flowers and garden! Our daughter and son-in-law (Missy and Chris Lowe) introduced us to Scheeringa nursery many years ago and we go every year for our needs! They really know their stuff! It’s a must go to! 🌺 I also must add, our grandkids love the free petting zoo! 🫏 🐄 🐓

This is such an amazing establishment. When their farm stand part is open the produce is fresh and reasonable. The greenhouse has beautiful healthy plants and again reasonably priced. I take my Grandchildren to the petting zoo every year. I love it as much as they do!

Scheeringa's is the best. A complete, family-friendly experience and a town favorite. My daughter loves to go see the goats and other animals. I love the green house with a wide variety of plants and vegetables for growing season. My wife loves the farmstand and bringing our daughter to their fall season activities. Everybody works so hard over there and they're all fantastic people. Go out of your way to get over there and help them out a bit. They got extensive crop damages from the storm on 6/24/26.

We loved going to their mommy and me planting experience. It was a lot of fun for us and them to learn how to plant flowers. Its absolutely gorgeous in their green house right now. So many beautiful plants.

Just took my daughter this weekend and we had a good time I would say that the inside is more geared towards the littles more than older kids.. the petting zoo was fun we loved all the animals. But let’s get to the star of the show the PRODUCE. OMG why even go to the grocery store when you have this place. FRESH veggies and fruits yall gotta stop here. And the donuts are so good you can tell they are freshly made and haven’t been sitting on a shelf. I love the family vibe it was a little boy handing out the feed for the animals and he was the cutest and sweetest thing. Very polite and professional. Can’t wait to come back in the spring.

Petti g zoo was fun. Free roaming goats... a little aggressive. The petting farm feed is over priced... better to just buy the produce and share amongst the farm animals. On a hot day for people sensitive, there isn't much shade or resting places. They don't sell cool beverages. They do have some amazing produce , and their corn is the best I have had all year.

Vegetable prices ($3.99 and higher per plant) are more expensive than any place (Remus and Johnson) I've visited. I really didn't feel comfortable being there. However, the beautiful, friendly dog helped ease my discomfort level. No, I didn't purchase anything,and don't plan to return.
