Tiemeyer Park

The lawns and all the green area at Tiemeyer Park are exceptionally beautifully maintained. Their new lawn service, Juarez Lawn Services, are performing with excellence. This lawn company services my yard on St Bridget and have always done the most amazing job. My lawn and yard always looked well maintained. I’m glad to see they are maintaining the park with the same care.

The residents of Dolan Memory Care Homes love to visit Tiemeyer Park. The pavilions nearest to the playground offer plenty of shade and are close to the bathrooms. The parking is very close to these large sitting areas which is helpful for people with mobility issues.

The community park offers a diverse array of amenities catering to various recreational interests. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy facilities such as a soccer field, baseball area, tennis courts, volleyball area, and a roller skate rink. For families, the park provides playgrounds and children’s slides, a picturesque pond, and paved walking trails ideal for leisurely strolls. Numerous covered picnic areas equipped with tables and benches make it a perfect spot for gatherings. Currently, a water park featuring a sizable slide is under construction; however, details about an accompanying pool remain unclear. While restrooms are available, they close at the end of the season, which may be inconvenient for some visitors. The park offers ample parking and is dog-friendly, welcoming pets on leashes. Maintenance is managed by dedicated staff and handymen, but for improvements, contacting the city is necessary, though responses may not be immediate. Overall, the park provides a peaceful setting for families to engage in physical activities and enjoy the outdoors.

Beautiful park. A hidden jem.

Supposed to be a 7 million dollar remodel, but it doesn't look like it... Still no speed bumps and people keep using it as a street and it's not. People go any speed they want with no problems. I have seen people going 35 even 45 miles an hour. Not safe.

Pretty nice place…you can find all you need. Children’s playground 🛝, small pond with fountain ⛲️ tennis courts 🎾 courts, soccer field. Walking paths…and even hockey 🏒 ring for roller skates 🥅 So good place to visit with kids for sure 👍

Wonderful heavily shaded city park with large playgrounds, roller hockey, tennis courts, soccer field, softball field & a concrete walking path around Gendron Lake.  Perfect for family picnics, kids playtime or a nice stroll for yourself or your pets. Contains the Overland/St. Ann VFW Post Honor Roll Memorial.

I just started riding an ebike, and I wanted to explore the area parks. I'm not from Missouri originally, and I've only lived in this area for a few years. I searched for local parks that have biking paths, and Tiemeyer park showed up. I really enjoyed riding around the park on the paved trail. It is a beautiful area with plenty of shade, and it was peaceful sitting by the lake just listening to the fountain. I'll definitely visit again soon!
