Mary's Pizza Shack

Pizza place with a great spinach salad and reasonably priced and tasty drinks. However the pizza was mediocre at best. Sauce was bland, dough is unremarkable and cheese was basic.

This might be some of the best pizza on the planet. The crust was perfect, not so thin it can't hold the topping, yet still crisp with a great crunch throughout the bite. I had the Toto, and I mean that had everything I could ever want on a pizza. Oh, and the sauce. It's the Goldilocks; not too sweet not bitter, just that perfect bed for the flavor vessel about to enter your mouth. First time here, but you better believe I'll be back!

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but I felt it was important to share this experience at Mary's Pizza Shack. My wife and I came in for dinner, and unfortunately both the food and service were disappointing. I ordered the soup and salad, and the portion size—especially the salad—was noticeably smaller than what we’ve experienced here in the past. We also had to ask for bread, which used to be brought out automatically. When it finally arrived, it was burnt, and by that time I had already finished my salad. The service was the biggest concern. We asked for drink refills, and although the waitress acknowledged the request, she never returned with them. I want to emphasize that we were polite throughout the visit—I even made a point to greet her warmly and ask her name when she first came to the table. We’ve had better experiences here before, which makes this especially disappointing. I hope this feedback is helpful, as it seems like there may be some issues with consistency in both the kitchen and service.

Today, I didnt get my food until AFTER our waitress handed us the check. I reminded her and when she turned in the food (after a couple minutes, so it mustve been sitting) she quickly dropped it at the table without even a look or explanation. The atmosphere is nice, yet the service only got worse. The waitress came back at last, and I ask for a refund as I had realized the pasta wasnt even hot when it had arrived. The manager is sent and offers $5 off. It felt she may not have understood the situation so i explained that my food only came after we got the check a whole hour after ordering and she said shes still going to have me pay for the salad. The $9 small caesar salad that came with the pasta. So if I get my pasta without salad I get $9 off? Point aside, the manager was also using an unnecessarily loud tone. Turbulent experience, and I’m sad it challenged my perspective on what I think to be a considerate family run business.

Went for a late lunch on Friday the 13th. Started with some wings, came out hit and crispy, just right! Wife has. Cobb and I had the new Panini Sandwich. Both were good, Cobb was huge, brought some it home. My Panini was delicious, good mix of meat and cheese and other goodies, I really enjoy it. We had a good time, we've always enjoyed Marys

From the moment we walked in the service was awesome and the staff was very friendly. Started off with some drinks and then they bought over some toasted french bread and butter which was a great start. We ordered a large pie with 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 salami, both delicious and the seasoning they use makes the pizza taste awesome!! Pepperoni was a bit on the spicy taste but very delicious.

Our go to place, happy hour from 3 to 6...1/2 price drinks and appetizers. Edit: still one of my favs...they always have enough staff! 2nd Edit....it seems like the quality has gone down a bit....my favorite he she meatballs weren't very good, almost didn't taste like meat but rather like a bunch of bread crumbs. This breaks my heart!
