We had an amazing experience with La Gondola Providence! Our gondolier, Amadeo, was absolutely incredible and truly made the birthday celebration special. He sang to us beautifully and shared some fantastic history about Providence and the buildings we passed along the way.
Amadeo's hospitality, talent, and knowledge made it an evening we won't forget. If you are looking for a unique, relaxing, and beautiful way to celebrate a special occasion, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, Amadeo, for a wonderful night!
Giovanni made the final night of our honeymoon road trip so incredibly special. He was warm, sweet, and so knowledgeable, sharing stories and details throughout the ride that made the experience feel even more meaningful. He even sang to us, which was such a romantic and memorable touch. It was the perfect way to end our honeymoon, and we are so grateful to Giovanni for making the evening feel so magical.
We loved our experience ! The communication was fantastic before the reservation. We happened to reserve the ride during a very windy time and the owner of the company reached out to us to ask if he can reschedule it for us to make sure we had the best weather experience which I so appreciate it.

What a beautiful experience! If you and your loved one haven't had a romantic Gondola ride here...you better get on it! Plus its also a great girls night event! Bring your own bottle of wine or champagne. They provide a bucket of ice and glassware. Plus blankets. They truly do make it a comfortable ride to enjoy the beautiful ride under amazing brick bridges with an amazing history lesson to boot! We had a wonderful Gondola (driver? Rower?)..we forgot her name but it started with an M..like Matisse or something like that! What a beautiful beautiful voice as she sang under a couple of bridges. She made our romantic ride complete 🫶
Absolutely amazing!!! Such a unique experience and very romantic. Our gondolier was so friendly. He gave us information about the city and stopped under the bridges to sing songs in English and Italian. They provide a bucket of ice and glasses (BYOB) and some nice Italian biscuits. My husband arranged for rose petals for a added romantic touch as we were celebrating our anniversary. I can’t recommend this enough if you are in Providence.

We set our expectations low, because we thought that we may feel silly or awkward, being paddled around and people watching. We found this to be a very reasonable price for the entire experience. We purchased the basic private option and were pleased. We weren’t celebrating. The needed quiet moments were welcomed and our gondolier was great company. This doesn’t have to be a romantic gesture. Just go ride and have a nice experience. Nighttime was amazing!
You can customize to your preference, such as making it a family picnic, or add some romantic flare online, or bring your own.
La Gondola was absolutely beautiful! My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary at the WaterFire festival and it exceeded our expectations. From the music, to the gondola, to the homemade Italian cookies, and our tour guide Evano (who sang a little on the boat and gave us the history of the festival) - everything was outstanding. A unique experience you should definitely not skip - thank you so much, La Gondola staff!
Definitely worth it. You can bring your own wine, they supply the delicious red wine cookies! Such a relaxing tour and the gondolier is very knowledgeable of the history in the area. Our gondolier was an amazing singer as well!
