Rail Explorers: Rhode Island Division

WHEN I TELL YOU!! I had an amazing experience! words cant describe how great this place is! I recently did the sunset tour and proposed to my fiancé! I knew I wanted to do it here so i connected with the Rhode Island Location and they were nothing but helpful. they immediately were willing to be supportive in any way they could! booking the time was easy and getting to the location was smooth as well. The staff were super nice and instructions for the tour were clear. Being on the trail was beautiful! If you decide to book the late tour bring a little coat because it does get cold but you may not need it from the pedaling lol. The Picnic area was so beautiful at sunset! that was where i proposed! we had smores afterwards. everything went according to plan and turned out better than i could have expected! so thankful for everyone on the crew team who made the moment amazing! Shout out to Kelsey for being so helpful through this whole process!!

We had an absolute blast on the Rail Explorers bike ride! The experience was unique, fun, and a great way to enjoy the outdoors. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The views along the trail were beautiful, with plenty of scenic spots to take in as we rode the tracks. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing outdoor activity.

Super relaxing experience overall! The staff was so friendly and patient, even in the sun. Pro tip: book your tickets ahead of time to lock in your spot! It’s an easy 30-40 min bike ride each way. Definitely bring snacks. The view along the way is okay,but the rest area is beautiful and perfect for chilling out.

We booked Rail Explorers in Portsmouth RI for my son's birthday and we had the best time. It was a bucket list item we wanted to check off. The first time I've seen it was on the show, The Real Housewives of RI. The weather was chilly and drizzly, but it turned out nice for us at our 5 pm departure. It's kid-friendly, we got to stop at a picnic spot with a fire and beautiful views of the water and the Newport bridge. It was easy but exhilarating; definitely a unique experience and I highly recommend. We booked a week in advance. The check in process was seamless. The ride took about an hour and a half with the stop at the picnic spot (there were bathrooms too). There is a parking lot as well. Yes, we would definitely do it again!

This is a must of you are in the area! So much fun! We were a group of 8 and could all ride together. The ride is not difficult, especially if there are many people peddling. The changing scenery is beautiful. If it gets too sunny they provide umbrellas

This is a fantastic spot in Rhode Island. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and will happily crack a joke with you. They offer to take photos every step of the way, and one of the guys even filled my gallery with hilarious selfies of himself. We took the South Circuit Route, which ends at a beautiful little picnic spot on the water (where again, the staff offers to take your photo of the beautiful scenery). The tracks are pretty flat and biking the trail is pretty easy. The scenery is beautiful.

This was such a fun quirky way to celebrate my 59th birthday. The view from the train was beautiful. His staff was fun and friendly. The food was delicious and the murder mystery was just a lot of fun. Definitely recommend.
