Enjoyed our night tour of the Shanghai tunnels! Our tour guide Natasha, was a great story teller. The tour was a little outside, throughout the interior of the building, and then of course, the tunnels. I felt like it was a great variety of locations! It is creepy, and history based, and really a unique activity. The beer tasting was a fun add on, and I felt like it was a great value. I definitely recommend as a way to experience a different perspective about Portland history! Do be aware, there are several flights of stairs, uneven ground, and dark areas- so be prepared for that aspect. For me, it added to the overall fun of the experience.
My family and I took a tour here along with the beer tasting and we had so much fun! Everything was so beautiful and my tour guide was so funny! The staff were extremely fun and kind! The drinks were great as well!.The trek on some of the stairs were extremely steep and the ground is occasionally uneven on the tour(our tour guide did great at warning our group in areas with potholes in the ground,I can’t remember her name but she was blonde wearing a dress with a black bow and mentioned natasha!)so maybe not the best tour for those with limited mobility!
Shay was our guide and she was amazing. Tour included beautiful architecture, some spooky legends as well as some of Portland’s rich history. Tour moved at a good pace and kept my interest the entire 90 minutes. Beer tasting and included beverage were bonuses. Highly recommend this tour.
Fun little ghost tour in Old Town Portland. While the underground tour of the tunnels was a bit underwhelming, it was still a good time and a pretty good value, considering there’s a beer tasting included at the end, and you get a free beer at Old Town Pizza afterwards. There were certainly some cool things we saw on the tour, most notably the courtyard, but no paranormal encounters and the majority of what we saw was pretty lackluster. The tour guide was great though, and it was a fun way to spend a couple hours. It’s not going to blow your mind, but I don’t think it will leave you disappointed either.
Caitlyn was our tour guide and she was fabulous! Enjoyed learning about the tunnel’s history as well as the spooky stories that come along with the tour . Folks , when you are in Portland, it’s a must , if you are into the paranormal or if you just like history, in general. While you are there , grab yourself a slice of pizza .
My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday night, it ended up just being us and the tour guide. She was amazing, I was fully entranced by everything she said. Wonderful time, loves going. A definite must do while in Portland, especially if you like history with some haunted aspects.
Loved the tour! Spooky fun vibes, and I thought the tour was a good mix of historical info and spooky stories. A few photo ops throughout and the beer tasting at the end is fun. Caitlin is a great tour guide!
Overpriced for what it was. I was expecting something more akin to Seattle's underground tour but there was much less in the way of things to see and history to learn. The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable and it was a good idea to involve the story of Nina's ghost since there wasn't much substance beyond that. The pizza place was great anyway
