Pittock Mansion was one of the highlights of our trip to Portland. I enjoy visiting historic homes, and this is one of the best-preserved mansions I've toured. Walking through each room really felt like stepping back in time. The original furniture, artwork, musical instruments, clocks, kitchenware, and personal belongings have been beautifully maintained, making it easy to imagine what life was like for the Pittock family over a century ago. What made the visit even more memorable was learning the stories behind the house. Every room has its own history, and there are so many fascinating details that you would probably miss without taking the time to read or ask questions. The volunteer staff and guides were excellent—friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. They shared interesting facts and answered questions with so much detail that it made the mansion feel much more alive than just walking through a museum. I also appreciated how thoughtfully everything is presented. The exhibits provide plenty of historical context without feeling overwhelming, and the mansion itself is in remarkable condition. From the elegant music room and stunning chandeliers to the antique kitchen and beautifully preserved décor, there was always something interesting to admire. Combined with the panoramic view overlooking Portland, this was a memorable experience that I will remember long after the trip.

This place was amazing. The drive to get up there Was fun. Once I arrived here, I noticed that you had to pay. But since I got there before 9:30 in the morning, it was free. Which is a big plus. I took the walk around the mansion, and in the back is a beautiful view. You can see the skyline of Portland city.

An absolutely beautiful and well-preserved historic mansion with stunning architecture and rich Portland history. The interiors are elegant, the exhibits are informative, and the views of the city and Mount Hood from the grounds are breathtaking. A peaceful and memorable experience—definitely a must-visit when in Portland.

A beautiful mansion with a sense of history, tech at the time, and a view that could kill. The mansion opens at 9 but you can visit the surroundings as early as 6 am. Parking is available and no need to pay until 9:30, and it's only $2.40 per hour. The whole compound is not that big, could be done the outside in 15 minutes. Bring your coffee and breakfast to eat at the bench and glazing the view would be mavarioso.

Absolutely beautiful. Amazing architecture and everything in the house is so detailed. The grounds are very well maintained. In the back there is a beautiful view of downtown Portland. Lots of historic info throughout the house as well. Parking seems like it could get full but there is a decent amount and we found a spot easily at 3 on a Saturday. It is definitely worth a ticket to go inside. The gift shop is very disappointing with most of the items being random junk and only a few items actually having the Pittock mansion customized.

Nice views and gardens. They have a done a nice job restoring the house. Consider taking the shuttle during busier times due to limited parking.

It's the best place to see Portland. I came for the view and took some beautiful photos of the city and nature. The inside of the house offers a glimpse into a historical life. There are some wonderful historical artifacts, including old-time home layouts, household items, and kitchenware. I'd call it a museum. I found parking. I paid $5-6. The ticket was around $20. It was worth it for the view.

The Pittock Mansion they is central in Oregon in history. It is a nicely preserved example of times that I’ve gone by the mansion is absolutely gorgeous, filled with character and a joy to tour. Of course the views are absolutely stunning. The grounds are amazing. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable is a great place to learn about orient history the way which folks lived 100 years ago and appreciate the amazing views. It’s definitely worth checking out, but I gotta say the cost of admissions is a bit high since the entire mansion and staff house can be viewed in less than an hour. Parking on this day was seven dollars. Not a great value, but not crazy expensive either.
