We recently visited Jenkinson's Aquarium as part of a family outing, and overall, it was a great experience. It's the perfect size for families with young children. We spent about an hour exploring, which was just enough time to keep everyone's attention without anyone getting restless. We were able to see everything at a comfortable pace. One thing that really stood out was the staff. Employees were throughout the aquarium sharing each animal's story and explaining why many of them live there. Learning that several of the animals were rescued and are unable to return to the wild because of injuries or other circumstances made the experience much more meaningful. For the most part, the exhibits appeared clean and well maintained, and many of the animals had enrichment activities and environments that encouraged natural behaviors. My only disappointment was with the shark and seal exhibits. Both enclosures felt quite small compared to the others, and there didn't appear to be much enrichment available, aside from a floating rubber duck in the seal habitat. I would have loved to see larger spaces and additional enrichment opportunities for these animals. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to families looking for a fun, educational activity while visiting the Jersey Shore. It's a manageable size, the staff is knowledgeable and passionate, and it's clear that many of the animals have been given a second chance through rescue and rehabilitation.

Visited Jenkinson’s Aquarium recently and had a great experience! It’s a smaller aquarium, but very well maintained and perfect for a relaxed visit, especially with kids. The exhibits are clean and thoughtfully designed, and we really enjoyed seeing the penguins, seals, and sharks up close. The staff was friendly and informative, and there were some interactive areas that made the visit more engaging. It’s also conveniently located on the boardwalk, so you can easily combine it with a beach day or a walk around. Overall, a fun and worthwhile stop if you’re in the Point Pleasant area. Definitely recommend for families or anyone looking for a quick, enjoyable outing.

It's a private beach. You have to pay $14.00 per person just to get on the beach!! The food on the boardwalk is nasty and over priced! The games are ridiculously high!!! $10.00 per play!!! I'll stick to The Wildwood where the beach is free, the variety of food is good and the games are reasonable!!!!

I brought my three year old daughter here on mother's Day weekend. It's a wonderful aquarium to bring small children to because it's a very manageable size with a nice variety of animal exhibits. It's also well maintained with excellent staff. Be prepared to pay for parking unless you can find street parking in the residential areas near Broadway Avenue.

The experience my family and I had at the aquarium was excellent it may not be one of the larger aquariums but let me tell you they have a large shark tank and we were able to see them fed they also have penguins and we will also able to see the harbor seals being fed. Frogs, turtles... A few exhibits and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly it was a great experience. P.S. The aquarium is very clean very very clean there are no "aquatic poop" smells. 😁

The aquarium was amazing! Everyone very friendly and they explained about the penguins, how the bracelets distinguish between male and female. So informative! Would definitely recommend it! The feeding time for the seals was also very informative! Definitely worth checking out!

I saw this aquarium on the internet and incorporated it into my summer vacation. It really doesn’t disappoint. Parking was easy and done by valet. The aquarium is about 200 feet from the parking lot. The staff is friendly and you dont really need any reservation. We were able to walk in right away. Didn’t have to compete with other parents or wait in line. This place offers extremely large fish and an amazing shark display. It’s the closest I’ve ever gotten to a shark in my life. Another big attraction for me was the penguins site. Very memorable experience and will cherish the moment for many years to come. Also, we bought souvenirs and they have a beautiful gift shop. Thank you

Went on a rainy Saturday. It was crowded but ok. Even though we were able to use elevator for wheelchair to second floor it was very slow and claustrophobic. It was interesting and we got to see the sharks eat. I wasn't sure what to expect but since I had only ever been to the Camden Aquarium I felt a little underwhelmed. There is not a lot of room on 1st floor for wheelchairs or strollers for that matter. It would be great if the 1st floor walkway was wider. I loved the Pygmy marmosets. It was a nice surprise to see the other animals they had.
