Wild Animal Safari - Pine Mountain, Georgia

It was an AMAZING experience for adult & child, those who are afraid can keep the window rolled up; STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING THEIR VEHICLE. They offer a bus ride but the height of the bus does not offer the same experience as a sedan, minivan or suv. The length of the trail also was a pleasant surprise too, it provided a good opportunity to see several animals and multiple points of contacts with animals before exiting. The location does not time your length of stay on the trail either! My daughter is a teen, so for her this is a one-time visit but it’s definitely an annual trip for families with small children!!! *Oh and they have like a mini zoo, it wasn’t as appealing as the safari but a great place to walk through while you wait for a vehicle to come available*

Amazing fun experience for all ages. Very hot, no ac on buses. Helps if you bring a personal hand fan with you if you go during the summer. Especially for the walk around zoo viewing portion on foot. Our 12 year old daughter had a blast hand feeding the animals during the safari ride along. Our bus driver was absolutely amazing and had some funny jokes along the way with all kinds of facts and information. Shout out to Captain Jack!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This place is off the beaten path, but well worth the detour. You can drive your own vehicle, rent a safari van ($$), or just ride in their safari bus. Due to cost and potential slobber...I highly recommend taking the bus tour.

Hey guys!!me and my wife went to visit Wild Animal Safari in Pine Mountain and needless to say it was definitely worth the trip! It's one of the best spots around the Columbus/Phenix City area to get up close and personal with exotic animals. The drive-through portion is a blast, but don't skip the walk-through sections either—getting to see the giraffes, lemurs, and stags up close is amazing. Highly recommend renting one of their safari vehicles if you don't want animal nose prints all over your own car windows! Perfect weekend spot for families or photography lovers."

So many animals! The drive took about 45 minutes and we saw everything from gazelle to wildabeast to ostriches and emus and buffalo and giraffes and tons more. The only critique I have would be to offer more pellets to feed the animals at the half way point through the drive. We ran out and start to ration them pretty quickly. So buy more pellets than you think you’ll need! lol

Loved these gentle creatures! There are many of them, and they are so sweet! Follow the directions of the staff, though, or they may be a bit too friendly! The van rental was a great idea, BUT make sure you get a plastic bag to keep your butt dry because the seats get wet! The animals put their heads in the car and lean against your car. Theres a good reason for the rental vans! I just wish we had arrived earlier, because we needed more time to enjoy everything there. The staff were great. The animals appear well cared for. Its a great experience for all ages. I would have liked to have more than 1 bag of food to feed the animals. I have never been that close to a wildebeest! So fun! We had a great time. It would be so fun to bring little kids here! They would be over the moon having an experience like this.

We really enjoyed this. The inside walk thru area is kind of small but still good. The drive thru part was fun. We bought 2 bags of food for 3 people. The animals loved it. We ended up pulling over a couple times for people to pass through. We enjoyed spending time feeding all the animals that would come running to us.

10/10 highly recommend! Such a lovely and beautiful experience. The bus driver, Terry, made it even more enjoyable. The commentary and knowledge he provided about the animals was very funny and informative. We would definitely do it again.
