The Park at Galaway Apartments

I’ve got approved for this the townhouse from May I paid my deposit and move in money by check which I presented to Nicolas Harris on May 29 I signed the lease same day however the unit that I’m supposed to move into wasn’t ready at all I came to the office next and it still wasn’t ready for me to move in ALOT OF ISSUES IN THE APARTMENT WHICH I TOLD NICOLAS ABOUT AND OTHER MEMBERS IN THE OFFICE…Today is June 4 and the unit isn’t ready nothing is fix and Nicolas told me is was going to be ready from June 2, THIS APARTMENT EMPLOYEE ARE THE WORSE NO GOOD COMMUNICATION WHENEVER I CALLED TYE OFFICE NO-ONE PICKS UP…I’m extremely upset. I WAS TOLD BY NICOLAS THAT WE CAN MOVE IN EVEN THOUGH THE APARTMENT WAS NOT READY, THIS IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, THERE IS NO SENSE OF URGENCY ONCE YOU PAY YOUR DEPOSIT ITS LIKE NO1 CARE. FROM BROKEN CABINETS, DIRTY WALLS, WALLS NOT PAINTED, STOVE NOT SET UP AND READY TO USED,MARKINGS ON THE ENTRY DOOR, THE LIST GOES ON. I HAYE TO BE THIS PERSON BUT THERE IS NO WAY TO GET TO NO1. EVERYTHING ON TYE PHOTOS IS HOW THE APARTMENT IS NOW IT HAS NOT BEEN FIX AND ITS BEEN 4 DAYS NOW THIS IS A HIG INCONVENIENT FOR US VERY DISAPPOINTED

The Park at Galaway is nothing like what they show online, and living here has been very disappointing. The pictures they advertise look clean, modern, and well put together, but in real life the apartments are old, dirty, and not taken care of. A lot of people feel like the photos are fake or very edited just to get you to move in, because what you see in person does not match at all. There have been many problems with basic living conditions, like maintenance taking forever to fix things or not fixing them at all. Some residents have gone days without hot water, weeks without heat, and had broken windows or other serious issues that were never handled properly. The management is also a big problem because it changes a lot and does not seem to care about the residents. People say they complain and get ignored or kept waiting with no real help. On top of that, there have been a large number of complaints filed against this place, showing this is not just one or two bad experiences but a pattern of problems. Overall, this place feels very misleading, poorly managed, and not worth the money, and many people regret moving here because it is not safe, clean, or anything like what was promised. Also the pictures online shows bright, clean walls and nice floors, but when you move in you see stained walls, chipped paint, and worn down flooring. They show updated kitchens with nice cabinets and appliances, the pictures you see online is actually the office and not the apartment itself but many residents end up with broken appliances or old cabinets that are falling apart. The photos also make the rooms look bigger and well lit, but in reality the spaces feel smaller, darker, and not as nice. Even the outside areas look clean and safe in pictures, but in person people have seen trash, poor upkeep, and things not being maintained.

I’ve been here for close to 2 months. On my move in day they attempted to put me into a unit that was completely different than the model. Not to mention ruin the unit was full of roaches and was not move in ready esthetically. There was a lot of damage. After I decline that unit they moved me into a much better one, but it took me a month of bombing. Bug spray and boric acid to rid all the bugs! One of my inside windows has nvr been installed. Another window is broken and nvr came back to be fixed on top of other things that should be included and never were. As of 2 days ago my apartment flooded with sewage water from the tubs! When I went to the leasing office the dude in the office to the right of the entrance brushed me off and told me to be patient and call my insurance company. I didn’t go there with concerns of anything my own insurance would handle and he didn’t care to ask any further questions about the condition of my apartment and living. The cleaners and plumbers didn’t stop working until 9m that night. Almost immediately after they dried my floors my toilets stopped flushing and began to leak from the bottom of the toilet and flooded my bedroom all over again. Sewage water is still coming out of my tub and my home reads of dirty water/mold/mildew and all rooms with carpet are completely ruined. It’s now Saturday and I am sure I’ll be expected to “wait longer” in these conditions since this place moves without care or urgency. My unit is not longer livable and I’m not comfortable moving units(which is needed) due to the original horrible unit they attempted to move me in the first day. The units are big and can look nice is decorated correctly but I now don’t think I’d recommend anyone to move here. I’ve only been here 2 months and am considering moving out. No one shioukd live like this and management doesn’t move with empathy, care, or integrity. I don’t appreciate being undermined while I’m paying rent as a new tenant.

I live in this apartment complex , this actually my first apartment I ever rented in my name I have two kids and I wine that’s still a baby … I put work orders in all throughout this week pertaining my roof is still leaking . They came to my apartment and tore out my roof , the maintenance man claim that it was not leaking at all anymore and left with the roof still torn apart and stuff all over my floor same day same night the roof started leaking again . I put in another work order and today 5/27/2026 this morning around 8 or 9 am in the morning they sent people to come patch the roof up not looking at the work order that I put in that the roof was continuously still leaking . When my boyfriend stopped them from doing that because the wood needs to be treated and the leaking hasn’t stopped they stopped patching the roof up and left and never came back the entire day and it’s been leaking all day today . As well as the office marked all the work orders I have submitted to them as “ complete “ but it’s still leaking inside my home … my next step tomorrow morning is to call code enforcement and everyone that can get involved to come help them move faster or move me to another unit I only been here since April 10th and I have submitted about 30 work orders since I’ve been here . I have kids that like to run around a 2 year old and a 10 month old baby and the office told me this would be solved by 5/27 and they didn’t solve nothing whatsoever!

They barely fix anything what type apartments do renovations but you don’t have a living room light or bedroom lights you have to purchase you some standing lamps just to have light in your bedrooms and your living room. Also management don’t help with nothing maintenance. Barely comes when you put in a request. They want you to sign up for a parking pass, but you don’t even have it in your car is electronically done, but the gate ain’t fixed stay broke stay open, and they will tow your car without warning. You can’t even have guests over here cause they will tow their car without warning. I am so ready to leave this apartment the worst mistake of my life

I’ve had similar experience to others in the comments, my leasing agent is nick and he is NEVER AVAILABLE I already paid for the application and gotten approved however, I wasn’t even notified that I was approved until a number of unanswered phone calls and a visit. I have still yet to receive welcome letter with my unit number on anything im supposed to move in on the 1st and today is the 25th and I still have zero correspondence. I recommend firing everyone in the leasing office and starting all over in an effort to persevere the business, and perhaps hire individuals who want to do they’re jobs, because the people available now seem to have an issue with performing the basic task the job requires. I will be riding up to the property tomorrow because it seems that’s the only way to get any word from the leasing office… terrible service but it is a beautiful community tho

I wouldn’t recommend. I stayed here almost 3 years and they evicted me with no court date. They just randomly came to my door to put me and my son out. I have already had communicated with them when they will have the money. They came with out informing me anything and didn’t communicate anything about being evicted without a court date. Don’t move here. Extra moldy and roaches. Very hard getting in touch with any one but they make sure they get they money.

Applied with them and was told by DREW, that rental issues OVER A YEAR OLD were not going to affect applications I have a 7 year old disputed rental amount on my credit (about to drop off) that they treated as a violation, and ultimately told me I need to give them an extra months rent, through a co-signer app. That was offered as a response to my appealing the initial outright rejection. Instead of considering specific circumstances, they just robotically and lazily punish applicants with no concern of why they might owe some landlord who has nothing to do with them! Ive been renting since 1984, do they care about that? The incident happened in 2019, and Ive been renting ever since! Do they consider that? NO! They act like they are the arbitrators for some other landlord! If this is indicative of how they maintain the apartments maybe I dodged a bullet.
