Tikka Shack Indian Grub

Tikka Shack has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat because they’re incredibly consistent. Every visit, the food is fresh, the orders are accurate, and the quality never disappoints!! The Shack Naan is an absolute must order… it’s a delicious, cheesy twist on traditional garlic naan that’s always served warm and fresh. Their Tikka Masala is another standout, and I love that you can fully customize it with your choice of vegetables, meat, or paneer, making it a fantastic option for vegetarians and anyone with different dietary preferences like myself. They also offer great lunch specials and meal deals that make it easy to enjoy high quality food at a great value. The fresh juices are a nice option if not wanting soda, which is usually my choice. The mango lassi, their specialty drink, is always fresh, creamy, and the perfect complement to the meal as well. The restaurant itself has a beautifully decorated interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and it’s conveniently tucked away in a charming outdoor shopping center. Every experience I’ve had has been excellent, from the food to the service. My only wish is that they would expand to the west side of Phoenix because I’d love to have a location even closer to home. Until then, it’s absolutely worth the drive!!

Delicious Indian fast food! I love the rice and the tikla masala with garlic naan bread. It's served nice and hot. They also give you enough for 3 servings; nice portion size. All for only $20 if you get a drink. They also have self serve beer taps, wine, and yogurt drinks. Their to-go packaging is of good quality. Their plastic wear is sturdy and not flemsy. The restaurant is very clean and they gave great customer service

This is a restaurant full of flavor. I had the boneless chicken bites and Tikka Masala fries. Both were delicious. They stay open late with a sort if self serf counter vibe. I was impressed at the automated beer dispenser they have, I had never seen that before. The employees were nice and attentive. I went late at night and the place still had customers and delivery orders. I may have found a new late night spot. Lots of quality Indian options.

Fast fresh and high quality. Nice service. Self serve tap beer bar. Tikka Masala chicken and Goab Vindaloo with lamb was delicious. And believe it or not they play New Wave music in the dining area!

Food was delicious! The young lady in the front really helped us narrow down our option. We drove in from Los Angeles and saw that there was an Indian place close by and had to see what it was about. Naan pizza? Sign me up. I would definitely like to come back and try some more food. Highly recommend.

Curry Fact: It's estimated there are 10,000 curry houses in Britain - accounting for two thirds of their takeaway restaurants! I tried something new and now I have a new favorite. I ordered a Malai Kofta (House spice, ordered with naan and no rice), $13.25. What is Malai Kofta? Malai kofta is a rich and creamy North Indian vegetarian dish consisting of deep-fried paneer and potato dumplings (kofta) served in a luscious, spiced gravy. "Malai" means "cream," and "kofta" refers to the dumplings. A celebratory dish, it is often considered a vegetarian alternative to meatballs. At Tikka Shack, they do it well. Served with four kofta dumplings in a pool of delicious creamy sauce, I found myself mopping every drop with my naan. I even grabbed a spoon to make sure I had every taste. Tikka Shack has consistently delivered. Fast Indian cuisine with a Tikka Tuesday Special? Love it!

Lunch time and nobody's in the place. Now I know why . First, I took forever to get the food. Second, the chicken was way overdone and very stringy and tough. Inedible. Third, it's not that the serving size was big, it was the plate was ridiculously small. You couldn't help but spill most of your food on the table. There was absolutely nothing enjoyable about this experience. Even if management was to pay me to eat there I would decline.
