Desert Mission Food Bank

Need a food bank that is great that gives lots of good food with amazing selection like meat, cheese, energy drinks, milk and sweets? Just drop by at around 8am to be ready and first few in line by 9am and you’ll get that plus some. Great service 👍 No joke I absolutely love this food bank. I come here twice a month for the last couple months and refer as many people as I can. Today alone I was shocked to see CELSIUS Energy drinks. Not one, but 7 of them. I don’t know about you but I spend precious money for Energy Drinks. They don’t usually include hygiene but I asked this morning and there wasn’t any objection at all. Dove soap, sunscreen, tooth brush, the works. The staff are beyond welcoming. Amanda is my favorite person to see and interact with. Once your at her desk you’ll be out in minutes. She is respectful, pleasant and really just straight up awesome 😎. Besides the amazing selection of food their I would say from my report that she’s the best. Thank you guys so much for making life more easier on myself. By you providing these food bank services here twice a month you add to life.

I appreciate Desert Mission Food Bank for helping families in need and providing food during difficult times. The staff was kind and the assistance was appreciated. However, I did notice that many of the items I received were expired or not usable, including some items past their use-by dates. I understand donations can vary, but I hope there can be more quality checks to ensure families are receiving safe and usable food. Thank you again for the support and for serving the community.

I absolutely love this food bank! The staff is friendly and the volunteers seem to love what they do. When the lines were long a few months ago, they did their best to get us in and out and staff will come out passing out water bottles and registration sheets for those who were there for the first time. I am a Case Manager and I am here very often. They make it such an easy process. I have NEVER gotten any spoiled or rotten food, not even any near soiled items. They have carts for you to get your items to your vehicle and also a donation table to leave items that you're not interested in. They have special food boxes for senior citizens, pads, diapers, and adult diapers. Definitely check them out!!

This place is awesome! They gave me TWO carts worth filled with delicious food. You can come here two times a month, so every other week. I had my wallet stolen, and somebody used my ID to get food from the food bank, but the customer service representative sorted out the issue immediately and handled it professionally. I was still able to get my food. The line isn't too bad, but I'd expect to wait 30 min to an hour (SOMETIMES more) to get your food, which isn't too bad!

This place is a literal God Send, works that Christ himself spoke of. Anyone that has received food from this food bank and ate the food should be a shame of yourself for giving anything less than a 5.0. All the people giving their time, their money their food and ultimately a part of themselves... Also you can go up there and get free food and then complain! Now that to me is the worst of the worst. I hate to say it but all that time money effort food all wasted on entitled, low life complainer. Not me I appreciate the food and I think it's the best place I've ever been to. Thank you all so much for everything you do andeverything you give. I pray that your blessings will be multiplied 77 fold. Apologies for the rant but it gets me fired up. The old adage "Never look a gift horse in the mouth!" comes to mind.

These guys are amazing. They help me and my family out tremendously and they're always happy to see me. At least I feel that way, they're very friendly and inviting with a positive atmosphere. And the food boxes they give are filled with things I enjoy getting. Very unique. I love these guys.

First time user today. Simple one page registration, showed my state ID, waited while my information was quickly entered. Was handed a receipt and sent to the food box line. Before I left she informed me that I was welcome to use their services twice a month. In line I was given 2 large boxes of food, heavy on bread items and vegetables, fresh and frozen, several packs of meat and various other things. Highly recommended.

They give tons of great food, always very nice. I appreciate you guys so much.
