I had a great experience with Johaan from Desert Diamond Air. He came out to diagnose a low-performing AC unit and was incredibly thorough. He carefully inspected the outdoor condenser and then checked the evaporator coil to accurately pinpoint the issue. Johaan was highly professional throughout the entire visit and provided clear, practical solutions to get the system running efficiently again. He also took the time to answer all of my questions completely. I highly recommend Desert Diamond Air and will definitely ask for Johaan again for future service!

Craig did the inspection and quoted me different AC units. He understood my needs and budget, and provided the best quote between 3 companies for same models. He answered calls and text when I had questions. Brody and Joshua did the install, including a new thermostat and new vent. Fine young, hard working folks. Highly recommend them!!

In the past, we’ve always had to use different AC companies due to poor quality service, but this is now our second year with Desert Diamond AC and the difference has been night and day. Both Daniel C and the prior service technicians we had have been excellent. During this most recent maintenance visit, Daniel replaced a capacitor and took the time to clearly explain what he was doing and why it was needed. I really appreciated how informative and educational he was throughout the process. He also provided pictures, which made everything easy to understand and gave me confidence in the work being done. Every experience we’ve had with this company has been positive—professional, thorough, and very pleasant. It’s a relief to finally find a company we can trust. Highly recommend!

Desert Diamond replaced two 5-ton AC units for us this week and from start to finish they were straightforward, knowledgeable and efficient. The sales rep Tyler answered all of my questions clearly and took his time explaining his answers. He responded quickly along the way and was a pleasure to work with. The crew on install day were friendly, efficient and did a great job cleaning up after their work. We got four quotes before deciding who to go with and I'm glad we went with them.

This company has been great from start to finish. I’ve been using them for a year and I couldn’t be happier with the support I get from them. My system is old and the technician Leo was more than upfront and honest with everything that was wrong and made me feel comfortable with fixing what needed to be fixed. I am so glad that I found these guys because I will be using them as long as I live here!

UPDATE: This breakdown is entirely new to me. In the video, your technician explicitly states that the part cost COULD BE LOWERED TO $555 IF we signed up for the PM plan. However, the invoice itself contains no itemized breakdown to support the pricing now being presented. We also asked whether we could source the part ourselves at a lower cost and were told no. We were informed that the only way to receive any discount on the part was by enrolling in your program. While prior PMs may have been scheduled, no technician was on site during the original PM plan. Additionally, the labor hours you’ve provided do not align with reality. I have this on video as well. The technician was on site for a total of 3.5 hours. At no point were we informed that we would be billed for time spent sourcing the part. Frankly, sourcing parts through your partners is generally understood to be part of your company’s responsibility, not an additional billable service, and if it is, it needs to be clearly stated as a charge. If it was honest and transparent, as your breakdown showed me, I would have no issue. The problem lies with the technician going back and forth, not being transparent on charges and telling me a part I know the price of is over $500, and not providing a breakdown. If he said the part is roughly $100 and labor will be roughly $500, this would not have been an issue. But based on your breakdown, my invoice and what the tech said, that’s 3 different versions, so how can you not feel ripped off? ORIGINAL: I want to share my most recent experience with Diamond Air, because it went from great to completely unacceptable. My first experience with Diamond Air was excellent. They were fair, transparent, and professional. Based on that, I signed up for their PM plan and scheduled my routine service check. No one ever showed up. When I called customer service, I was told there was “nothing they could do” because the year had expired. So much for the plan I paid for. Recently, I called again due to a loud noise coming from my system. A technician came out and diagnosed a blower fan wheel issue. The part was extremely overpriced, but I was told it would be fixed the same day. The part was installed, but it was the wrong size and the noise was still there. I had the technician recheck it, and he confirmed it was incorrect and needed to be reordered, delaying the repair another day. When I questioned the cost and asked for a breakdown of parts and labor, none was provided. The next day, the technician returned and told me the “correct” part was even more expensive, despite being the same part just a different size. I was told the higher price was actually a “discount” for the inconvenience. At that point, I had no real choice but to pay. To make matters worse, I was never given a clear breakdown of charges. Everything was billed as a single lump sum. Given that technicians are paid commission, this lack of transparency is extremely concerning. Between the missed PM service, incorrect parts, inflated pricing, delays, and refusal to provide itemized billing, I will never use Diamond Air again. Never again. Stay away.
