The service here is always great. If you've never been here, they are always willing to help and guide you with ordering. ...We used to eat in at the old location, every now and then. The food seemed much better, as was the quantity, years ago. There was always plenty for leftovers. ...At this new location, it's either hit or miss. The chile relleno was good, but it lacked flavor on the coating. The Jade Red Pork and Chicken is still good, as was the rice and beans. Try it for yourself. We love the menu variations.
I’ve been coming for over a decade. The new location is a huge upgrade- same great flavor! Ask for a sample if you’re not sure what you want. I like it spicy so I always get the Pollo Diablo.
I live an hour away so haven't been to Chino Bandido in years, went today and everything is exactly as I remember. Amazing food from the Jade Red quesadilla right up to the Snickerdoodle cookie for dessert. Definitely won't be waiting years to come back again.

All these years later, even living across the valley, this place is still a must‑stop anytime I’m in the North Valley.The food is consistently incredible — unique, comforting, and packed with flavor in a way you just can’t find anywhere else. The vibe hasn’t changed either: welcoming, fast, and full of regulars who clearly love it as much as I do.If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. There’s a reason Chino Bandido was featured on Diners, Drive‑Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. It’s a Phoenix classic and absolutely worth the trip.
Had an amazing experience here. It was my first time and they walked me through the menu, step by step. Ordering was a smooth process. Food came out hot and efficient. Great quality food as well. The jerk chicken has the perfect amount of spice. The extra care to make fresh baked cookies to was an incredible touch. Overall fantastic experience.
We used to like this place a lot. Now it’s just eh. The staff were nice and attentive. The atmosphere is dry and empty in the restaurant. The food was okay. The teriyaki chicken was dry. The cookie was delicious as always.
Had high hopes with the reviews the food was not very good i will say the jade red chicken and pollo diablo were decent maybe a 6.5/10 the jerk chicken in the quesadilla that as recommended was really bad almost inedible . Probably wouldnt come back
