The Lookout Bar and Grill

First time hear and had a wonderful time! We made it to their weekday happy hour (2-6pm) and got two app and two drinks. Highly recommend the spicy mac bite app - not spicy at all but rather really creamy and cheesy. Our server was super kind and checked up on us regularly. At the patio, there was a playground for the kids, two beach volleyball courts, and also music playing. Perfect spot for a summer patio meal with friends and family!

After 65 years, The Lookout Bar & Grill is still a staple in Maple Grove. The outdoor patio was awesome tonight—perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy the evening. Our server was friendly, attentive, and did a great job. The food was solid across the board. The only thing that needs a little work is the timing—meals for our group of four didn’t come out together. If they can tighten that up, it would really elevate the experience. Overall, still a go-to spot and we’ll be back

Came on a Thursday, karaoke night…no issues with service, people are very nice, bathroom was clean, no fights, a nice outdoor area (if you smoke they have a tent with a heat lamp on a timer), sell pitchers for about $14 (could be $8 like other MSP places), karoke was good…yet a lot of country songs. I don’t care much for country yet they had other songs as well, & you can pick from a book. One star off only because of prices, yet other than that it’s a nice establishment.

Great patio for kids and the food was great (had a burger and chicken - both great). We plan to come back as it's rare to find such a nice kid friendly spot. My only issue was with the service. We went on Friday, July 3rd and sat outside a little after 5pm. Despite the menus and an ad we had seen both saying happy hour is 4-6pm on weekdays (the ad specifically said Monday-Friday) when we got there the outdoor staff claimed that Fridays are excluded from Happy Hour. We heard them tell multiple people this, but also some tables had happy hour menus so it seemed strange. I ended up calling the indoors (talked to Carly) and they confirmed there was a happy hour going on. I don't know why the outdoor staff were trying to lie about the happy hour but it frustrated multiple tables and is something that I hope management looks into.

We were really looking forward to our first visit since we've heard so many good things about it. Great outdoor patio for sure but the food was overcooked. My hamburger was well done (not requested) and the walleye was so over cooked it was leathery. The server was OK but certianly not engaged. We won't be back.

It was my first time! I was spoiling myself for my b-day on Christmas eve. I had some awesome smoked ribs! Came with fries, slaw and some wicked beans! 😋 Great crowd. Very welcoming. 🤗 It seemed like everyone, knew everyone. A lot of hospitality! Before you knew it. I'm hanging out with a bunch of people I didn't know, having a blast! 🍻 So thank you to Keri! Who I met one day prior. Pointed 👉🏼 me in the right direction. A HUGE thanks to Lori! Who was "HOLDING DOWN THE FORT" that night! Slangin' drinks and giving service with a smile 😃 definitely coming back! Thank you all! 😁

Our 1st time here. We drove from St. Cloud Mn. It was worth the dive. The Ribs were delicious. Our server Amber was attentive and very nice. Great meal out with 4 little kids.
