Marcus Majszak was our project manager and he was awesome. From being on time every time, to great communication and follow through, they even custom made our vanity and medicine cabinets. Having a construction background, I thought our bathroom remodel would for sure have some last minute punch items. Turns out our project manager already went through after and made sure everything was perfect. Thank you Del Mar for keeping the standards high. Highly Recommend.
Had a good experience with Del Mar. Beginning with the process of helping me to file a claim with my insurance company and setting up the work to be done with an excellent construction company was seamless. Del Mar's employees as well as the construction company are professional and friendly, easy to work with. I appreciate everyone's willingness to address all of my concerns.
I recently had a deck built by Del Mar. I couldn’t have asked for a better job to be done. The deck is perfect. The workers were all knowledgeable and very kind when interacting with them. Will certainly be coming back!

Would give zero stars if I could. Del Mar reconstructed my basement after a pipe burst in January 2024. They emphasized how they would add insulation to my walls/pipes so it would not happen again. January 2026 the SAME pipe burst, and i had my walls opened to reveal zero insulation that was billed to my insurance in 2024.
I wrote this review in January but was contacted by them to take it down in exchange for them paying for it to be fixed. It’s now May 2026 with Mike from Del Mar builders playing phone tag. He eventually said he would send a check, but I never received noticed on my USPS dashboard that anything from him was even coming. I was left to pay the mitigation out of my own pocket and now I have to turn to insurance to fix it. Very unsatisfied with the poor quality work and unprofessionalism.
Del Mar repaired our home due to water damage after a snow storm. Christina Kukla was our project manager and absolutely fantastic! She came out 24 hours after the damage. She then started to gather the necessary repair teams for this project. Christina was easy to work with and guided us through the entire project. Definitely recommend Del Mar for home repairs-renovation.
I hired Del Mar to remodel my bathroom, and while there were a few positives at the start, my overall experience has been very disappointing.
On the positive side, the initial contract was well-detailed with clear pricing for each item. The sales representative understood my requests and created a solid plan that fit within my budget.
Unfortunately, nearly everything after that point was problematic. The project manager failed to communicate effectively with the crew, resulting in multiple misunderstandings and delays. The plumber assigned to my job refused to complete the work, forcing me to hire an external plumber at additional cost. Although Del Mar credited me for this, they simultaneously raised prices elsewhere, which left me paying extra overall.
Any change to the original contract—large or small—seemed to be used as an opportunity to increase costs across the board. At one point, the project was essentially put on hold until I paid 50% of all “new” charges upfront. The remodel also suffered from long periods of inactivity where no work was performed.
The main reason I hired Del Mar was to build a bench for my wife, and even that was never completed. I ended up paying roughly 20% more than the original contract for work that was not completed to an acceptable standard. Several elements of the finished bathroom show poor craftsmanship, including crooked walls, chipped tiles, an unbalanced sliding door, and subpar paintwork.
In short, Del Mar delivered a frustrating and expensive experience. While the paperwork and planning stage was handled professionally, the execution and final quality fell far below expectations. I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
