TD Podiatrist - Union Square

Dr. Shields is wonderful and I highly recommend him! I had gone to 4 podiatrists before him to get their opinion on foot surgery that I needed to resolve pain issues. There was either a high additional copay for an in-house surgery room or insufficient solutions. Dr. Shields was a breath of fresh air. He has a calm, confident, and gentle demeanor. Due to my medical history, he requested a bone density scan of my foot first to make sure the bone was not compromised. It turns out it was and the surgery that would be ideal for my issue would not be successful because of this. None of the other doctors thought to do a scan and I would have had horrible consequences if I had let them do surgery on my foot. HOWEVER, Dr. Shields came up with a workaround surgery solution that would not compromise the bone but relieve the pain. The pain I was experiencing was relieved almost immediately after the surgery. Also, Diana, the 14th Street location receptionist, is so kind and helpful. I have visited the office a few times now, and each time I'm there, I'm impressed. Last time, she took the time to explain a patient's insurance to him in the most patient and comprehensive manner. And phones are always answered, no need to leave vm messages. The best.

Dr. Goze was really great!!! I called and they said can you come in tomorrow? The receptionist was very friendly, polite and professional! I was really nervous about my (ingrown toenail) procedure , and the Dr. was totally patient and kind, and explained everything as he went. And did everything he could to remediate my discomfort. I would recommend this place.

Dr. Goez was kind, competent, attentive, and explained my injury and care very clearly. He was very thorough and not rushed, and listened to everything I told him. Great experience and I feel well taken care of! Ditching my other podiatrist for him and you should too 😂 Staff is also quick and helpful, and wait time was short (but I did my paperwork online ahead of time)

Super clean office. Courteous staff. I had the nerve to be late. Not only did they accommodate but the 'wait', she warned me about was less than 10 minutes. My Dr listened to me and made sure to schedule a follow up. Wish all appts were this pleasant.

The day I made my visit to Dr Shields it was freezing outside and their office was cozy and warm. The front desk staff was welcoming and the sign-in process and preparation of paperwork to see the doctor was simplified and not stressful. The intake nurse was warm and welcoming and very nice to talk to as she took my information that she needed for the doctors initial examination. After she came back from updating the doctor about my condition it was recommended that I get x-rays done. They did the X-rays right there very quickly and once again the intake nurse that did the x-rays was wonderful. Dr Shields then came in and introduced himself and began to ask me more questions to further assess my condition. He was welcoming and knowledgeable, easy to talk to and answered all of my questions that I had. He explained everything he felt that might be going on and also discussed what other possibilities existed with my condition. He explained all the options for treatment and made his recommendations. It was an absolutely excellent experience for my first visit to this medical facility. Highly recommend this place and Dr Shields. Thank you all again over there for a great experience. I'm looking forward to healing quickly.

Really sweet team of individuals. I love how caring the staff( Lydia, Jennifer and Dr. Raman) are. Very helpful, Doc knows his work inside and out and I would honestly say if you got issues please go here because they gonna take care of you and help with your concerns every time .

I had such a great experience with Dr. Tamir Danilov at TD Podiatry. He was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough. He took the time to really explain what was going on, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. You can tell he’s extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. He came up with a clear treatment plan that addressed all of my concerns, and I left feeling relieved and confident about next steps.
