Champion Pizza - 5th Ave

Pizza toppings are great. Not overly saucy or cheesy, but the toppings are fresh and delicious. Meats (pepperoni and sausage) are not overly salty like some places. Sauce is a bit sweet for my liking, by but I can see why some people may like it. Dough is good chewy New York style with a little crisp. Service and atmosphere are standard take out pizza place. Nothing special. But staff are nice. Opens late, so good if you want to crab something after midnight.

Excellent pizza spot between Flatiron & Greenwich. The pizza had perfect crust and was packed with flavor. The man behind the counter lit up when we walked in and seemed so happy to serve us. There was also ample, clean seating. Great all around.

I recently moved to NY a couple of months ago and stumbled upon this pizza place near my apartment. Their food and service are genuinely phenomenal. They always welcome customers with a friendly face, make accommodations without hesitation, serve warm, fresh, incredibly delicious pizza, and take the time to get to know their customers to make sure they’re treated well. Whenever friends visit, I always bring them here for a late-night snack or a quick bite. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing pizza while feeling like they’re part of the family. Highly recommend.

The food was delicious. The people behind the counter were very kind and respectful. There's lots of open seating space and the staff work diligently to keep the place clean. The bathroom is spotless. Honestly, kind of a best kept secret. I've never been here before but I will be back.

I went here recently with my friends after passing this place multiple times & I have to say this is the absolute WORST pizza I have had in my life!! First of all, the pizzas were BURNT. Second, the cheese & pepperoni tasted old/stale & flavorless. Third, one of the workers was kind of rude to us as well. Fourth, we pulled the cheese off the sicilian slice and that’s how it looked so we didn’t even finish eating it…Fifth, I believe there was a ten dollar minimum for the bathroom which thank goodness we bought more than enough but I have NEVER seen that on bathroom before like a minimum to use the bathroom is crazy! PLEASE, do yourself a favor & do not waste your time or money here!!!

Place looked amazing, and I was fooled by the pictures on the wall. Got a regular cheese, and a chicken and bacon, and a buffalo chicken slice. Cheese was okay, the rest were absolutely terrible. The guys who work here are super nice and courteous, but the pizza is beyond subpar. 1 out of 5.

Truly one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever had. The dough was perfect and it was not overly greasy like some places. Great for a late night meal. Just wished the Hawaiian had a bit more Canadian bacon bits on it.

My family was recently visiting from out of state. We had Champion Pizza two nights in a row. The service was great and pizza was delicious! Highly recommend!
