Lady M Cake Boutique - Bryant Park

A bakery famously known for their mille crepes, which is basically a crepe cake that the have in so many different flavors, that they sell either by the slice, or you can also buy a whole cake. The choice was tough, but eventually we took a slice of the strawberry-matcha crepe cake (the top part is strawberry cream filled, and the bottom part if matcha cream filled) and a slice of the signature mille crepe (entirely filled with pastry cream). Surprisingly, the signature one was kinda boring and its filling didn't really feel like custard cream, but just like a regular boring whipped cream. The matcha-strawberry one was very good though, as the sweetness of the strawberry cream balanced the bitterness of the matcha cream, creating together a very good bite. Not sure this place is worth the hype, and I'd probably won't come back here to try some other of the crepe cakes they have, but still I think you do need to try it at least once.

Have been here two times and every time enjoyed the flavorful crepes. The tastes were enough and not too sweet. It’s a pricey place but the quality is good though.

The flavors on these cakes are distinctive and mild. We ordered the pistachio and orange ones and I loved the delicate pistachio flavor over the orange one! A bit on the expensive side- one slice for over 10$. Recommend for a lovely treat!

Loved this spot. Lady M is always a solid choice when you’re craving a really good dessert. The cake was delicious, super smooth, not too sweet, and you can tell it’s made with high quality ingredients. The layers were perfect and the chocolate on top was rich without being heavy. The space is bright and calm, and it’s a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy a slice. Definitely coming back.

What’s good food served cold! Lady M got to do more than making great Pastries! The staff is horrible, place is tight and especially one African American gentleman would rather kick out EpiPen than to help them find a seat! I wound rather go to scores of other really good place for such stuff! Glory days are over unless you reinvent yourself LADY M!

The cakes were absolutely delicious and the drinks as well. Definitely a must try and really comfortable place to enjoy with friends.

I recently tried this cake again. I had it a couple of years ago, and honestly, it didn’t really stay in my memory. But a few days ago I stopped by and bought the orange flavor — and it completely exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely delicious. For me, it’s now one of the best desserts of all time. I’m definitely going to try all the other flavors they offer, but for now, the orange one is in first place.

The cakes are good, but not brilliant. Nicely presented and pleasant to taste, especially the famous mille crêpes, but the experience doesn’t quite live up to the hype. Worth a try if you’re nearby, though not a must-visit spot in NYC.
