John's of Bleecker Street

We stopped in with a party of 10. We were greeted outside in line and were told we would be taken care of in 10-15 mins and we were. A pleasant surprise considering the line down the sidewalk. Pizza was great, service was great. Would recommend. My personal favorite was the piccante. Will be back on my next NYC trip. Bonus for any fans of Friends…the apartment building from the show is just 3 blocks away. Cool neighborhood to walk around.

Really good garlic bread, some of the best! The cheese sticks are ok, average but the dip is delicious and the pizza is sol good. I think my favourite in new york. Their reputation is well deserved.

Nothing bad to say about John’s. We got there a little early for dinner, as we tend to do. Waited a few minutes on the sidewalk but we were quickly ushered in to a booth in the front dining room. Service was fast and efficient. We got the garlic bread with mozzarella for appetizer. It was really good and the marinara was good and chunky. We ordered a large margherita pizza for dinner and it was fantastic. Just how I like it. Nice coal-fired char and the flavor was really good.

we came for a slice of authentic nyc pizza, that odd ball “one bite you know the rules” guy rated this place highly, so it was on our list. waited outside in the cold for 30 minutes, once we got inside and so I just have small and tightly packed the places we understood why. No complaints, pizza was great, seeing the guys in the kitchen, hustling pizzas out, and watching their system was entertaining and impressive. Would go back, can see why it’s popular. Definitely helped make our nyc experience with the kids compete

This NY style pizza was delicious, but a little bit on the pricier side. There was a line that we had to wait in outside, but it moved fairly quickly and they were able to accommodate us after 10-15 minutes. I highly recommend their classic cheese pizza. The kiddos loved it! Their atmosphere was cheery and friendly and our waiter was very kind. Bring cash if you go, as there is a 4% cash discount.

I recently visited John's of Bleecker Street and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant has a warm classic New York pizza place vibe with a lively and welcoming atmosphere. It felt cozy and perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. I ordered pizza for dine-in, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was fresh, and the toppings were flavorful and well balanced. The portion size was great, and the quality was definitely worth the price. Overall, I had a really enjoyable visit and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic pizza and a great dining experience.

I want some amore of that pizza pie. This was a recommendation. First with a place that has such a history, following and a legacy as this place does it's hard to write about it, but I will do my best. This place screams authentic pizza parlour from the outside, and inside it's a picture perfect example all the way down to the aroma coming from the kitchen. From now on when someone says to me do you wanna go for pizza this is what my mind will recall pizza is. The staff is amazing and friendly and welcoming. You do have to order a full pie, but even when it's busy it's not that long of a wait. Everything is so very fresh and flavorful. This is what pizza should taste like. From the dough to the sauce to the cheese and toppings. Had a sausage, mushroom and basil and it was divine. The have wonder draft beer from Italy to wash down the amazing pizza, and it's a steal considering the price. Get your buddies together, go grab a booth and order up where I am sure the angels grab their pies from this is what a New York pizza is! This is be a staple place for each and every trip to the NYC!

Definitely one of the best pizza experiences in the city. We ordered half plain and half mushroom, olives. As appetizers, we got garlic bread, beef meatballs and garlic bread. They were all great.
