Expert Dental - Midtown

For the 4+ years I've been a patient here, my experience has been excellent & the 7 day/week availability is a game changer. The doctors, hygienists, & assistants are friendly and great at their work. Thanks to Rubina during my most recent visit for getting me in for a quick procedure immediately following a checkup rather than having me come back in!

I’ve been a patient at Expert Dental for the last few years and have throughly enjoyed it. The staff is truly amazing and has eliminated any fears I used to have of going to the dentists. Dr. Ma is. Wonderful dentist who truly cares about the health and well being of her patients. Even the wonderful receptionists (especially Sophia) have made my experience so great. I can’t wait to get my teeth cleaned again!

I had tooth extraction on February 4 2026 by Dr Rita that performed excellent job, talked to me step by step professionally and friendly way. She extracted the tooth l did not even had much pain. Thanks Dr Rita. Ms . Leslie did xray for me and she was so nice and professional. My thanks to Ms Sophia and Amy. I recommend this Dental office to anyone who needs to be comfortable with Dental work, they will make you feel comfortable.. The office is extremely clean and neat. Thanks to everyone

I hadn’t had a professional cleaning in years and was honestly a bit nervous, but I had a fantastic experience here! The cleaning was completely painless, which was a huge relief. They are incredibly efficient—I was in and out of the office in no time. I’m also starting my Invisalign journey with Dr. Lin, the orthodontist. He’s great and made the whole process easy to understand. Highly recommend! Don’t forget Rubina who’s super friendly and the math wizard!

The Ortho team experience has been wonderful! Dr. Lin and the whole team — Grace, Carmen, and everyone from Ortho have been wonderful throughout the journey, making it feel like family, too. Still not done with my treatment, but already can't stop smiling. Highly recommend for anyone looking for that Hollywood smile!

I had such a great experience with Dr Park, she is very professional and did a great job with my two procedures. My dental assistant, Jia was very lovely as well and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Anam at the front desk was also very helpful with explaining payment plans and helped me choose the plan that worked best for me.

Normally, I am not the kind to write reviews but this one I really had to point it out. I went for a oral surgery consultation regarding my wisdom tooth that was sitting close to my nerves. Dr. Rothenburg diagnosed and all was going smoothly before I got to discuss the finances. $13K out of pocket for two wisdom teeth removal was asked which is crazy and unheard of. Then I researched a bit more on the procedures that I was being charged for and asked some dentist friends and found out half the procedures like the PRP, Bone replacement is not necessary for third molar extraction and this was worth $4K just by itself. Additionally I was quoted $540 for Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas) and $2500 for sedation which is way over the market price. When asked about my insurance on the phone before making the appointment, they had let me know they were in service providers and hence had negotiated adjusted rates. During the finances, they told me only $300 for extraction is covered by my insurance which also left me baffled. I called my insurance and found out most if not all other procedures were covered at 50% upto $1000 which the financial office did not even consider. I do not know why and hence decided for a second opinion by another oral surgeon. Just got out of my surgery from another oral surgeon in UWS and got it all done for $1K for two teeth. From $13K down to $1K haha. All I want to say is stay safe people and research well, people may very well fell for these financial traps and pay so much more than they should. Expert Dental NYC - please make sure to clear later on first if the insurance covers it, what are needed/ recommended / not needed and considerate of people' hard earned money. Thank you!
